Well, guess that Collective Envisioning thing works. (World Peace, next)
Because how many times have we envisioned this: QUEEN!!!!
Will never forget that moment at Idol finale when they revealed the "band" on We Are the Champions. And there was Brian May...and the whole band...and like many of you, I lept up off the sofa screaming "QUEEEN! That's really QUEEN!!!"
Took away some of the sting of knowing Adam was getting ready to lose. (That look on Ryan's face as he announced the song said it all.)
With Sept 5th being Freddie's 65th birthday, and Nov 24th is 20 years since we lost him, kept thinking that maybe they'd have a tribute concert, and Adam would sing. But this Global Icon Award thing is it.
And it's happening. Astonishingly wondrous.
Thanks for MTV link, Q3. If they're telling the truth that they are going to stream, certainly Viacom's got enough servers.
