Oddly, there is something going on that might put Adam back in the news.
Fox is starting their pre-Idol promotion -- and embedding Idol stories all over the place. And they used Adam last night.
Adam was on the Sunday night Fox Local TV News all over the country yesterday because of the Cowel-Platinum Lawsuit. I saw it on the Cleveland, OH local news and then confirmed it was all over the country. It was a photo of Adam and was the bumper over the commercial break. At least they used a great photo of Adam. They said that Adam was going to have to "go in front of a judge" and answer charges that he broke the Idol rules. They closed with part of Adam's statement from Twitter presented as a quote, "reserve judgement until all the facts surface from ALL parties."
IMO this is a great thing. I know that others may disagree but it is a small controversy, a baseless claim, and people will side with Adam.

I mention this because a bit of controversary -- particularly about Idol -- can result in major press.

On a completely different note: Since Adam + QUEEN was such a success, I wonder if Adam + QUEEN could be invited to other major performances.

I have been reading the BBC,Belfast paper and so on. and they have all ignored the Queen and Lambert performance. Instead they talk about Gaga and Beiber winning at the EMA. OK I get that they won the awards but the real award of the night belonged to Queen and Adam.Just Saying.. "Talk about the elephant in the room" Angst level is rising. i just saw it in BBC entertainment pages.... |

I thought so, about Sauli not being with Adam. Their "love" tweets indicated that and the dm fail , and I told you about it. I'm sure Adam will do something really special for his love.  With a performance like this you probably need all your time to concentrate and focus, having someone around may be a distraction. Don't know, it needs a lot of attention being on things like this..... You may need all your attention, energy and space for this. |

Guys in all of this we still don't have a single announcement or target release, right?
Correct me if I'm wrong but we are thinking that we may hear something on 11/11/11, per Neil's mis-tweet?

I mean we were expecting something, a few lines, a verse, maybe some of us a whole song, but NOT THIS. NOT THIS.
To stand there alone in the dark all by himself.
I still cannot believe this performance. I wasn't worried at all, I told you so, and I thought that his voice would be really really good, as always but NOT EPIC VOCALS.
And he showed off his vocals but not so much that you would say he's showing off, like some other artists do.
And his fraising omg who sings like that and at the same you understand each and every word?
And after seeing this interview from BBC I'm convinced that the band approached him and asked him to do this.
All of us where hoping all of the above but no one really believed it.
We were dreaming, like some of you said, and we were happy only while dreaming.
Well sometimes dreams DO come true. For Adam and for us.

Well sometimes dreams DO come true. For Adam and for us. Yes. The whole thing was just perfection. No angst, no lack of coverage, no bad reviews can affect my opinion of what went down. Perfection. |

I agree with you, Q3, - this is good for staying in the news. However, it is quite annoying to have that as NEWS and the epic tribute to the rock legend band as a non-event. also, please watch Adam in the BBC interview while Brian is talking - the expressions, the attention, the active listening, the seriousness of the moment, the respect - it is all on Adam's face!
