Can somebody tell me if these downloads are mp3's or mp4's? No. The MegaUPLOAD files are massive 850 megabyte high-definition Blu-Ray files in .TS format. They can be burned directly to a DVD or played with a video player such as VLC Media player. They are phenomenal high definition TV quality rips. |

Mambaa6, WELCOME!!!!So many members delurked the last few days. So exciting!!   Mambaa6 and hwc!!! Wow, seems like old times – or all new ones. So glad you joined us! That mp3 mys*&@^#r posted that Scorpio did is incredible I've had it on repeat on my iTunes and I just love the drama, layering and heartbreak of the song. Adam sings it with such power and stunning nuance. LOVE!!!! Mambaa6, I went to the San Diego Idols tour and also GNT and I always get such a kick out the conversations I overhear in line for the bathroom, merch or the bar – old friends, neighbors and teachers who haven't seen each other in years all coming together and saying, "Isn't this just amazing? Adam is just fantastic!" I spoke to a woman who used to babysit Adam and Neil and another time chatted with one of his teachers. It's like a family/high school reunion. Actually, yesterday I was talking to another longtime fan, silverblue1 on Twitter – I hadn't seen her in a while, she was talking about how she was going over to a friend's house to watch the football game and was trying to figure out a way to bring up the fact that Adam was going to be singing with Queen without them think she was totally nuts. Ironically, these friends were former neighbors of Adam's. I was trying to think of ways she could bring it up without sounding BSC (she had already taken them to two GNT shows) – I told her just to evoke hometown pride and just coincidentally have her laptop with her. I don't know how that turned out. |

I can't find it now, but somebody back a page or two asked about video players. For anything out of the ordinary (like playing DVD files and stuff), I use a free player called VLC Media Player. It will play anything, including the TS high def files of last night's performance. www.videolan.org/vlc/Those files are 1080 high definition. They will not play smoothly only anything but a fairly new computer with a lot of memory and fast processor. That is very high resolution. My old computer would not play 1080. Just not fast enough to process that much data in real time. |

We don't know still, but it would appear that someone got on the stick because that is about the fourth Charity:water pic I've heard about today that has recently arrived. Also, regarding that blog, they never even mention Glam Nation, which is exactly what they seem to be lamenting the loss of: "Theatrical arena productions." Though it technically wasn't an arena tour, they did have some arena-sized stops and certainly the production is exactly what the guy is asking for. He goes on and on about the AMA situation and its double standard (true), but speaks nothing of what has happened since. Meaning Adam did more than 100 nearly sold-out shows using all the elements of theater – costumes, visuals, staging, dancers, etc. His management/label certainly didn't thwart him in that aspect. Comments are not enabled, but I'm sure a few glamberts would have been by to drop a link or two about GNT if it were possible. Make that five! I didn't stop at my mailbox tonight but after reading here scampered out to check. Got mine too ;D ;D ;D   So happy for everyone who finally got theirs!!! Man, 8:43 and I'm dead tired (can't imagine why ) Think I'll hit the hay early. One of the awesome advantages to u-verse is that you can watch the DVR from any TV and I DO have the original performance. I'm sure to wear it out before long. |

I would just like to say thank you so much to everyone for bringing all the links to the downloads and news articles etc. I always know that I don't have to worry about missing anything by not being able to check in during the day because it will all be here when I finally get home. So Thank You to All. I was lucky enough to get through to the 1080i download site and finished downloading the file but when I view it on my pc it does not run smoothly. The picture is gorgeous but it stutters and stalls. Can anyone tell me why this would be happening? Will the same thing happen if I burn the file to DVD? I'm not particularly tech smart but it may be your computer can't handle 1080i. I downloaded the 720 HD and have had no problems with it and it looks great on the tv Thanks for your response. I have a 1080i monitor so maybe it's my processor. Do you or anyone else know the minimum processing speed and RAM that I need to view 1080 videos? |
