I could feel the spirit of Mercury alive on stage tonight! Thank u Brian and Roger and crew. LOVE” The compilation picture with the article doesn't show Kris thought, it shows Allison. Thought that was a weird choice. 1. So glad that Adam didn't have to hold back singing We're The Champion last night, unlike 2 years ago. 2. I wonder what the "give metal a chance" wannabe think about our pop/electro singer actually performed with Rock Legend, Queen .. does he thinks Adam's selling out and changing his mind from singing pop electro to go back to sing rock? sorry just couldn't help it.  |

Does MTV have a video up with all three songs? Or is it just the first one, The Show Must Go On. I've got the download links and stuff, but I'm looking for a good online link to e-mail somebody.

I just watched the finale Queen duet a few minutes ago. I was there and it was amazing. Adam was amazing! But after last nnight, wow! The finale version doesn't even come close. It is so obvious that Adam had to "dummy" it down for the finale. |

No, they played it in their set while touring with Paul Rodgers singing. I am only on P.8 and I hate to post when I'm so behind--but frankly guys, RL may keep me from ever getting through an entire thread again--especially if Adam keeps doing EPIC stuff! SO, with that disclaimer, I was so curious about this Rodgers live version of TSMGO, that I had to look it up. I confess I know little about PR-srsly I am not knocking him one bit (to each his own)--BUT WOW I CAN SEE WHY QUEEN WANTED ADAM TO SING! :D Sorry.. I had to stop at 1.26.. I'v decided I couldn't stand him. How was it that the die-hard can accepted him to sing Queen song, but not Adam. .. {shuder}... Yes.. as Queen's fans, I can be very picky to whom can sing Queen's songs... I guess at that time Brian & Roger couldn't find a better singer to carry on the torch ..  |

For those who are unfamiliar with the term OLFIP, it is a term of endearment (or maybe not) that hwc coined for Kris Allen - specifically, Our Little Friend in Plaid.  Back for phase two I see, hwc. |

I come out of lurkdom, and you're actually here too for all the great Queen-performance chat. I thought of you a bit when I posted a comment here yesterday (after not posting in months, lol) about how Adam must have "sung down" at the Idol finale just for the-guy-who-won to be able to keep up. No offense to OLFIP, though, nice guy. But seriously, Adam showed what his pipes can really do in that epic performance last night, way more than we saw on the Idol finale. |
