I couldn't get the Channel 7 vid to play, but read the transcript with the article. I get the impression Brian was trying to protect the fans he was interacting with and taking selfies with and thought the news camera guy was intruding on their private moments. And when the camera guy put down his prof camera and got out his cell phone...well, that move made Brian loose his cool. Hope he doesn't let the negative reporting get to him.
It made me confused and sad when I saw it on TV news last night.
I don't know how to bring video here because the video is not normal video like from Youtube. The whole situation looked very strange. There was no crowd of people, there were only 3 or 4 people.
As you can see there was a calm, no shouting fans, atmosphere.
Hopefully Brian has a good rest and everything will be all right.
She definitely deserved Adam's attention Amazing pics she took during the show in Dunedin. I am not one to drool endlessly over Adam pictures, unless something really catches my eye, but I just complimented her on a job well done. I hope that Adam has seen her pics from the show. He should be more than happy.

Good review, and Adam yet again "proved to be a formidable match".
As Queen chose to post this review I assume they approve of this comment ...
"He did not try to sing or act like Freddie. Instead, he embraced his role as a singer in what is, at its core, a highly paid tribute act."
(Honestly, the "tribute act" doesn't bother me as much any more as it can't be denied that the Freddie legacy is there throughout their concert. Knowing now that Adam has a firm grip on his solo career with his own tour coming up makes me feel more at peace with the realities of QAL)

Queen + Adam Lambert have been gigging steadily over the past year with a setlist that rarely varies from night to night. But on Monday at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, New Zealand, they broke out Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” midway through the show.
On past Queen and Lambert tours, the group has performed a handful of Lambert solo tunes, but this take on “Whole Lotta Love” is the only non-Queen song they’ve tackled this time out. They previously played it just once, February 17th, 2015 at the O2 Arena in Prague.
The song, however, did play a key role in the history of Queen’s partnership with Lambert. It was the song Lambert was singing on American Idol when keyboardist Spike Edney first came across him while watching TV with his wife.
“I went in to refill my martini and I just caught the last minute of him singing ‘Whole Lotta Love,'” Edney told Rolling Stone last year. “When he got to the very end I thought, ‘Here we go. Here’s where it counts.’ He sang the final cadence and just flew through it. It was effortless. I thought, ‘Wow. That takes some singing chops to be able to sing it with that kind of confidence.’ Then I Googled him and the first thing I saw was him singing “Bohemian Rhapsody” a cappella at his audition. I sent off an e-mail saying, ‘I found a live one.'”
It was the beginning of an incredible new saga in Queen’s history. Queen and Lambert have been packing houses since they first hit the road together in 2014, but the massive success of the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody created a groundswell of interest in Queen, and they are selling more tickets than they have since the last tour with Freddie Mercury in 1986. “It’s interesting to look out and see people lustily singing along to every song that was in the movie,” Edney said, “and looking blankly during every song that wasn’t.”
Queen and Lambert are touring through July, including a 19-night stand at London’s 02 Arena.
This is for major Adamtopia announcements. If you want to discuss Adam, start with today's Daily News & Information thread.
nannygoat: Just heard this parody of Bohemian Rhapsody. Thought everyone would enjoy it. Amazes me how people can be so creative. ow.ly/p9ZH30niDPS and did I mention how much I am enjoying all the 'goodies' we got lately? "Feel Something" is gorgeous.

atomom: Adam's artistry is in full display: the surprise of hiccuppy gasps right before "new eyes", the sensuous tongue, one-two punch of "damn" smile, head thrown back, body drops to heavy guitar beats, a lusciously looking Adam--all make NE a visual/aural feast.
