What I find interesting is that the USSR did not open up to the world until the late 80's. The people were so entrenched in communism that they went from information underload to information overload. There was a lot of catcing up to do. Their analysis of music trends is very narrow-minded and limited. Wonder why many Russian and Ukrainian women are looking for husband outside of their native countries. Becasue the men suck !!!

In retrospect I'm kind of surprised that Adam's people weren't aware of the significance of May 27. Not that I think they would have or should have said no to this opportunity. This was purely win/win. I just think it would have been good to be prepared for what might happen.
There is still plenty of homophobia right here in the US. It's lessened considerably. but after the AI Finale I read on some red carpet review "Did they really have to actually HOLD HANDS? Attention whores." No link - deleted it. So it ain't dead yet......but far, far better than Russia apparently.
Btw - I'm in the group that thinks anything Adam-related is important to know. It doesn't all have to be sweetness and light. He's been taking it all his life so I can take a little of it too. I want to know what people are saying & thinking about him.

YES! HE sure DOES! I don;t think this was posted - this fan followed Adam through the whole signing line and captured all his little conversations - adorable!: Ilovehawiian.. what a wonderful recap..... thank you for sharing it with us.. so I watched this fan signing vid.. and had to laugh.. how many folks does it take to help Adam sign? Did there really need to be 6-7 ppl.. really... besides the white shirts.. and the assist (who if I may say sure did look like he was related to Isaac LOL) who seemed to be some sort of helper all the way from the hotel at least.. I saw at least 2 filming peeps.. 3-4 white shirts.. the helper dude.. and some random girl when they were walking away.. I also saw some guys in camo/fatigues over by the stage.. really? Did Brainstorm come out and sign stuff too.. does Korn and Prodigy also do this stuff? Just asking..and wondering. Gah.. I don't even know where to start with all these pics... so much awesome.. I know right?.. but then I remembered a week ago Adam management requested more security for him in Rusia. They don't want to risk it. |

Loved your recap ilovehawaian!!! So much fun.  And yes, the press is cringe-inducing, and it's to be expected. (We dealt with this kind of BS here just a year and a half ago. But of all the things I read today, I am most incensed by the comments on that Towleroad article WHY do I read them? Fucking jerks are judging him and giving him credit for NOTHING. *SHAKE. MY. Have we seen this? @ :16 the videographer jumps when Adam waves at them, and "Adam, Adam,,," at the end. I just love how the Russian fans loving Adam. Question to Q3, Should I post these clips on the Concert Thread instead? I think there are more.
