... I really wish some power that be would give definite parameters around if and when they would cancel, or not, and how things would be handled. They have to realize that for a large percentage of us...these shows involve a lot more than simply a drive to the venue...or a few hours drive and a short stay....the logistics when coming long distances from other countries are complex and expensive. ... Mszue, I sympathize with you on this. I am waiting to find out about the Las Vegas concerts as well. My travels are simpler than yours, though, as I am in NorCal, not Canada. I was wondering the other day if who cancels first - the venue, the artist, the promoter - makes a difference about whose insurance pays for what and how much of a loss which entity takes. Also, does the amount of time before one cancels a big event impact the amount of loss one incurs, how much insurance will pay, etc? I wonder if waiting until the city, county, or state declares that they must cancel an event is somehow better financially for the venue, artist, and/or promoter. Q3, do you know anything about this? peace&love

It is some sort of insurance game of chicken... can’t blame them...Our PM has called for people to stay in the country unless critical. He is in quarantine himself as Sophie has the virus!
