Guiliana never says anything positive about Adam. EVER! >:( Please don't stress about it. First of all, no singer/actor has ever lost even 1 fan because of the Fashion Police... ;D And as I see it, Juliana and Joan are always very old-fashioned in their choices, while Kelly and John (is this his name? The stylist with the Greek name Kostianopolis or something like that) are usually more edgy and up-to-date. The thing which really makes me roll my eyes, is Joan's gay jokes are always so 70s. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against gay jokes, as long as they're funny! But Joan's jokes always remind me of pre-school. She's really stuck in the past. You are absolutely right here! I loved her stand up routine but now her comments are as stale as week old bread! >:( |

Ugh! Did you see Giuliana named Adam as her worst dressed! >:( Guiliana never says anything positive about Adam. EVER! >:( Thank you. I have thought Giuliana was a bitch (because of the dismissive way she talked about Adam from the beginning) and I agreed with whoever said they didn't think it was "positive" in any way shape or form. Kelly and the guy weren't negative, but it seems no one likes to be nice once Joan sets the tone. Doesn't matter, Adam looked stylish on the Red Carpet and beyond hot and high fashion during the show. If Joan Rivers was on an ice floe in the middle of the North Atlantic, I'd probably have to take a minute to decide whether to paddle over to rescue her. That admission felt really good. |

I seem to remember that Guiliana commented positively about his appearance at the Grammys. Kelly O. was flailing about his look and Guiliana sort of agreed. But I can't find the video to prove it. That was the one & only time she said anything positive afaik. Not her cuppa I guess. She seems to like conventional dudes.  |

I wonder if Rivers has ever run back a tape of herself. Shhe has had so much botox and plastic surgery done she talks like someone with a neck brace on. Its not attractive. The police are on the take.

Got to agree with you, they ran the trailer of the poncho multiple times here, and I had to keep hearing her bad comments on that outfit. Perhaps she needs to meet him to fall under his spell, juz like Kelly! I'm still bummed about E News that she and Ryan do. Not covering anything on Adam's six month tour except the shock of him smoking a joint! Nothing about how fabulous it was, his reception around the world, nothing! So until she says one thing nice I don't want her to meet him! Silly, I know!!!  Just to add a bit of context -- they are like this for almost everyone. They cover stars acting badly and mock stars. I look at it this way -- if OLFIP (Kris Allen) shot up with heroin on stage they would not cover it. Adam lights up a joint in Amsterdam, where it is legal, and many artists do it, and they cover it. That means Adam is a star. So I can live with it. JMHO YMMV and they still are annoying. ______ Regarding the EMA Red Carpet look -- a lot of fashion critics did not like that outfit -- the suede shoes + print shirt + blue suit was not as pulled together visually as Adam usually is. Not my fav look he has worn on a red carpet but I love the shoes; shirt not so much. But everyone loved the Garth Pugh and black leather he wore on stage and for the post performance interviews. And IMO he was the fashion standout of the show. As long as Adam doesn't start arriving in an egg or wearing meat pants, whatever he wears in OK with me. |

Last comment on the subject, but there's a big difference between someone not being your thing and feeling the need to diss at every opportunity. I'm not a country music fan, but if I'm with someone who is and we're watching videos, I can enjoy watching and hearing Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, etc. Just as Adam said in one of the Idolatries I just watched, "Let them buy the other guy's album." In music there isn't a right and wrong........ well, I guess there is sometimes, but that's a talent not a taste thing. |
