Just got back after being out of town for a few days, and I see we've popped over the 700 registered members line... WOW!!  702 members now!!    So, from what I know, we have members from the following countries/territories: USA (including Guam and Hawaii out in the Pacific!), Canada, Greece, Austria, Spain, Romania, South Africa, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Sweden, Germany, England and Scotland, Finland, Krygyzstan, Russia, (St Petersburg), Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and Malaysia...So, what countries am I missing?? I know I'm missing some!! is from Singapore. |

That is actually the first song on Take One that I have heard. Never listened to any of it. I have to say, it is Adam's voice, but not Adam. I don't feel the angst or interpretation that he gives his own songs. Example, compare the wanting and longing for a resolution to the song's idea between this and WWFM. Not even close! ETA: Buderschnookie, I don't know, but it is obvious, to me, he is not being Adam! For me, it's the phrasing that sounds so unlike Adam. It's all chopped up--maybe Buble-like? |

Our first de-lurked Austrian!! Hi queenal   Painted Birdie hasn't been around a lot. I follow two of her accounts and haven't seen her tweet in a long time. But she also disappeared then reappeared in the past a few times. Last I talked to her, she was getting some nice-sized art commissions and really trying to focus on her "serious art" and not doing as many cartoons. I hope she continues to cartoon though. She really has a brilliant wit – both verbally and visually. |

Welcome QueeenAl, glad you joined us! It's OK to lurk, but we do have an awful lot of fun here, so join in when the spirit moves you. Please tell us when you became a fan, it's kind of an tradition here....... You are all so great, thanks for the welcome!!  I can't really remember how I got hooked ... via YT for sure ...... oh yeah .... that will make you laugh ... Clay Aiken! I stumbled over one of his performances on YT, got hooked (he IS a great singer!), a random reference via YT led me to ADAM ... my personal history in the making ... since then I got more and more interested ... and I must admit, I fell down the rabbit hole all the way and preety fast, I can`t even express how much I admire and love him .... Unfortunately last year when he was in Vienna, I was too new and the show sold out quickly .... so I only know him online ... looking forward to era2 8-) special mention to gelly and reihmer, you brighten up my day in this timezone |
