I would never make it as a translator. I can't even transcribe English. Kudos to Zinnia & miachihu for the magnificent job you're doing at Sauli Central atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sauliAnyway, I loved the Roger Taylor radio interview. I tried to do a sort of transcription. The punctuation makes me crazy and I left out the hesitation noises they make while trying to complete their thoughts. Does anyone have a link to another transcription of the interview? RT ...we did a TV show with Adam Lambert last weekend.
It was great fun. He was magnificent, actually. Of course, nobody
can replace Freddie.
DJ I think everyone was thinking Adam Lambert would, you
know, it's just the natural, perfect fit. Round hole in a round peg.
RT Well, you know, in some ways, yes. I mean, but the
thing is Freddie had such a unique personality. It was just part of
us. You know, the way he would put things over and present
songs to the audiences, but I'd say Adam does, he fits in
beautifully, when we play with him. He was sensational, actually.
His vocal range is unparalleled and I can say he's grown up a lot
in the two years since I've met him and he looked great and he
sounded great. I mean he's a lot of fun to work with. So, you
know, that was fun. I guess we'll probably do that again.
DJ Well, that, it sure seemed like a good fit. We listened to
a couple of clips. It just sounded like it worked.
RT Yeah, it did. It was effortless, actually.
