I loved her in Matrix Reloaded and Malena. To me she is the epitome of beauty (she and Adam ) Ohh Malena I love that movie!! YES, she and Adam ITA! Monica Bellucci and Adam, epic sexiness explode! Geezz, I don't even notice she was in that movie and I have watched that at least 3 times. Adam in AMA, I love the epic piano/singing introduction, it was very powerful and the rest, very entertained ;D Now I am dreaming for a " Britney criminal style" music video for Adam. He!He! ;D

Late to the topic as usual, but I want to weigh in on the X Factor. I just got the time (and inclination) to catch up on the show over the last few days. I saw a few of the auditions before and thought they were blah. So sick of back stories. Got to say, I'm really NOT enjoying this show. I think doing full-on extravaganza productions with Karaoke singers is laughable. I think Simon's manipulating the whole thing. The judges insulting each other, the overly sexy performances, Rachel Crow singing Satisfaction etc. Don't you think Simon knows the song was inappropriate and would cause a stir. I wouldn't be surprised if he even picked an Adam song knowing it would get the attention of the massive Glambert army. Give me a break. He gets to mentor the young girls. Surprise, surprise. He gets to go back and give one girl another chance (one of the best singers). What drama. Ho Hum. I really felt used and manipulated after watching. He's a smart guy and I hope he helps Adam, but I shudder to think that the viewing audience is really that gullible that they are buying his schtick. Don't mean to insult anyone here that's enjoying the show. I'm enjoying the Sing Off and even went to "The Voice" concert. This just seems to me like the "Jerry Springer" of "talent" shows only with a huge budget. So.... too cynical?

I like the Bruno song. Does he strain a bit? Sure. Is it a great song? Nope. But it's a good song, I like it, I like his voice and I just really like Bruno. My dream same sex spouse--- would have to be NoAngel. Something about that green hair..... Geez, aloha, is that all it takes? Here. Forget NoAngel. I'll find you some sexier green hair.... ETA: Or if yer really insistent upon green-haired angels, this one should be, you know, more angelic / less snarky: ;D

woman-crush: I'd say. Eva Longoria. And its her interviews that did it for me more than any acting, which is usually on channels I don't watch. She is smart, engaged in tons of projects, she's got her head on straight, speaks her mind. Obviously good looking too. Never watched desperate housewives. But yeap, she would be my crush, if I had to make a choice.
Just Karen: How about breaking the map right away into three zones, with EU and Asia/AU separate, so that there is some room to grow. Might as well do it only once. And I am hoping for major growth with album 2.
Yey, for Bruno Mars! His videos are creative and fun, I thought that monkey video was a brilliant parody of all these dancer troop lined up behind a lead singer videos. Talk about a low budget video being totally unique and creative in a very simple kind of way. Yes, agree with everything you guys said about the singing. But I am glad that with him there is another guy in the top ranks right now, not just Bieber, who is still a kid. Bieber is a next generation, in many ways.
Glad Bruno is tweeting back and following Adam. I think a lot of others are not because they are afraid. I think that includes quite a few of the bigger stars too. Gaga had her show stolen multiple times by Adam now. She puts it all out there, creates moon spheres and hops around half nakid and yet Adam, fully dressed and with no gimmicks at all sings and the whole twitter buzz calls him the highlight of the show and writes how he "stole the show". Gaga has nowhere to go from where she is, Adam's trajectory still has many places to go. I think in some way he can feel threatening even to the strongest in the industry, even though their success is so much greater than Adam's (for now).
AMA: I agree that long-term and for the history books this was a success and will be remembered. Which other performance do you remember two years later, kinda proves the point? But in the short-term, it almost cost him his complete career. He had two things that saved him. a) a fan-base that was solid and b) a few key people in high places helping him (Barbara Walters, Jay Leno, etc.). People who realized what a loss it would be to let him go down with this one performance. But if it had not been for those two things, Adam would have risked too much. The reality is, America is so afraid of itself that this performance was seen as a threat by a vast number of people. And until that changes, Adam does not have the same liberties in public performances that others have. And the country should be called out for that until it is finally willing to change.
And until that day, Adam needs to be prudent about pushing it. But I do hope he lets lose in other situations, where he can afford to do so. Because I did not mind that crotch grind one bit, if I might say so. :D

8toinfinity: X-factor is totally messed up, imo. Self-indulgent rubbish. Simon, you are so theatrical, the way you stage that show, as well as the judges critiques. This 13 year old Satisfaction performance? What the heck was that?????Some people will throw their televisions out the window after seeing this (i.e. that girl pop-ifying "Satisfaction") and singing it like a Disney tune. I think this show is everything that Simon has always critiqued about others. Does he not get it or is he so full of himself and his show that he does not see it anymore? The way the other judges have to kiss up to him, you kind of see that not many will be able to speak up around him. In my mind, Simon is ruining his own show. There is not one candidate on that show worthy of a 5 million dollar contract and everybody involved knows it, including Simon. My prediction, this show will not be on the air long term and AI ratings are going to be up in January, clearly showing that it is X-factor that is the problem and not reality TV singing competitions in general. This format is not working here in the US and it is not helping A&R departments of the record labels either. My prediction: Simon's reign is slowly coming to an end. This does not mean that he did not make a major contribution to the music scene of the last 10 years, but I think he is looking backwards now and not forward. He is trying to hold on to the success he had, rather than thinking about where things need to go next. On the other hand: Adam is all about what will come next. And that is exciting!
