I am pissed. Sorry. I couldn't help myself and responded to them. Major failure to leave out Adam. And they should be made aware. Some times it is okay to not be quietly polite. I left a polite but to the point (lol) comment, also. I also tried to retweet everything that mentions Adam. That's all we can do.

Sorry to bring this up as some here are clearly done with the IDOL topic, so please scroll. This Sunday they will announce the top5 to be in the finale, and it looks like it will be a wrap with this week's episode.
"The top 5 perform a song that celebrates their induction into the top 5, and a previously performed song; America's real-time vote determines the winner; special performances from music legends, including a performance of "We Are the World."
I think that Adam was invited back in some form almost every year, and it doesn't look like it will happen this year. It's okay with me, but found it somewhat noteworthy. It's a slow news day after all.

I don't watch AI, but do we know he wasn't asked? Did he say something? Personally, I can't believe that show is still on, but I know there are still people that watch it regularly.

All I just realized is that this Sunday will be the last episode. That's all. And I thought to myself that this year may be without Adam. He got really good exposure last year, and this year with everything happening over social media in an abbreviated matter and only few guest artists I totally get it.

Ah, ok...I missed a couple of the interviews he's done, so I thought maybe somebody mentioned it. Your comment also made me wonder how they're going to go about doing auditions for the next season. Don't they usually cram thousands of people somewhere to start the picking process? It'll be interesting to see how that's going to be handled. And I agree, AI was always good exposure for him...and he even has a new album this year. Go figure!

I think that Adam was invited back in some form almost every year, and it doesn't look like it will happen this year. It's okay with me, but found it somewhat noteworthy. It's a slow news day after all. Adam was not on ABC Idol the first year, only Carrie who mentored and performed. Adam and Carrie were on the 2nd year. Carrie performed and Adam mentored and performed. They are the only two who have mentored on ABC (another Christian Idol but she was not even in the live shows when she competed on Idol) and the only two from the Fox years to perform their own songs. When Lionel first mentioned that he wanted to do "We are The World" then Lyndsey chimed in with what about alums too. Lionel only name checked Adam and Carrie. My first thought was good luck with getting them. They never seem to come on for these group performances with the less prominent Idols. It is always the ones who are not asked back for real performances that jump at the chance. Ruben, Jordin, P2, Kat, Scotty etc. The last time they had a group thing, Carrie was there but not with them. She sang one of her own songs separately. She is a star, lol. I think that would be the only way Adam would participate as he also has always avoided the group stuff with Idols. I think if this had been a regular year, he would have been invited back so sing his own material. But my bet is he was asked for this too.
