I watched the We Are The World song on Idol with Lionel. The reason behind it was great. But I could not see Adam or Carrie taking part in the group thing. It was like they had 100 people singing (joking). You could hardly make anyone out. I have no doubt he will be back to perform on Idol when they get a regular season going. They have sent out many shout-outs to him in the past, even on ABC. I think if this had been a regular season, he would have been on the perform something from Velvet and not with a group.
Just Sam (African American female from NY) won. Arthur (Indian/Asian from Kansas) came in 2nd place.

Lol spoiler alert for those not on the east coast. Not sure what their race has to do with anything. Oh I don't know. Except we, and even the press, have been talking about the WGWG's winning (dull or not) most of the time for years and starting with Season 7. Some were surprised that one did not win again. A little too late to get all sensitive now. And if a non-straight guy ever wins, that will be talked about too, lol. I hope we are not going to pretend that it does not matter with Idol.
Sorry about the spoiler tho. I forgot about the West Coast.

In the first article Adam says he was in a long-term relationship with Sauli and would like to find a relationship like that again. He didn't mention heartbreak or anyone else, lol. Why do they (2nd article) always need to add their own dramatic takes to everything? Why are HIS stated feelings not enough? He has said many times that he is lucky to have had good relationships where no one hurt anyone. They just didn't work out and he remains friends with them. Hopefully his time will come when the right person for him comes into his life. But Adam understands his situation and why it is difficult to find a permanent relationship now. And how wonderful that he has had some great women to support him in his life. The original interview was very good. It doesn't require any re-writes. The original interview is one of the best I have seen lately. It is personal, it is honest, and it connects. I had a feeling that it would have "legs" and that it might be the basis of a little "news cycle". The second article somehow added what was missing for some in the first one Press.

I guess I like to hear Adam talk about what he wants to talk about and not some outsider's opinion of what he feels and thinks. He has always been very respectful even when others try to build a story themselves. That is why I preferred the first one with his words. But tabloids will try to put their spin of everything, and some like that, so I guess that is to be expected, lol.
