Just like Glam Nation Tour was not taken from the album or song titles -- my prediction is that the tour name will NOT involve Trespassing or Outlaws. I just hope is is Adam Lambert's _________ Tour Summer 2012!!!!!! Cause I do not want to wait any longer. Oh, and I want 10 dates in Northeast Ohio and 10 dates in Northeast Mississippi -- matching my schedule. ETA: Wish I was down South now!!! In Hot Lanta will y'all! We wish you were here too!!!!!!!! The Hot Lanta group knows how to party and mayumi is DEF the hostest with the mostest! Yeah.. wish I could come too... I knew only a few days before today couldn't make any plan :-/ .. next time? ;D

LOL!!!! I'm not quite caught up, but these gifs capture my emotions exactly when I woke up to the news and read that article. I half-expected Adam to present, but then to read an AMA producer berting and being all "yeah, yeah, it was no big deal, we luv him" was a major mindfuck! I'm thrilled that they are talking about it in this way, though. If they're inviting him back and minimizing what went down, fine. They wouldn't be doing that if they didn't think he has staying power. They're already talking about future appearances, so hopefully next year he'll perform again. Also, A++++++ to Adam's new management. Love their work so far! :D No, no and no! I hate that everybody is willing to forget and forgive ABC their reaction and their caving-in to 1,500 complaints. Had the complaints been about, say, an interracial kiss, would they have been so quick to cave in? They should be held accountable for their cowardly and anti-gay actions, and not let loose so easily. They're minimizing it, sure, it's their interest not to put the spotlight on how wrong they were, but why should everybody else agree to minimize it as well? Speaking only for myself, I am definitely not forgiving, forgetting, or minimizing what happened. I think the whole thing was a ridiculous tempest in a teapot and exposed a lot of hypocrisy and homophobia in U.S. culture and society. However, I think Adam's presence at the AMAs (and the producer's statement) indicates that Adam's career is bigger than the ~scandal, and they have moved on. As they should. And therefore I take this as a hugely positive sign that TPTB see Adam as someone with both staying power and future potential as a star. Yay for that!

Of course Adam needs to be at the AMAs, I'm not saying otherwise. And if I were Adam, I'd also forgive and move on. But I'm not Adam, and as a matter of principal, I don't see why ABC should be let off the hook so easily, without demanding some straight answers to some tough questions. We shouldn't play along with their dogding. That will only perpetuate the bigotry, imo.

Canadian lurker here. I am on the map but in the wrong spot. My flag is in the middle of Saskatchewan. I actually live in Guelph, Ontario, not too far from Toronto. Just wanted to say I love the title Trespassing. Can't wait to hear the album and I'm also excited to see Adam on the AMA's tomorrow. OK, back to lurking. Glad you delurked! Please feel free to come out of hiding more often!

I am feeling so happy for Adam this morning. This AMA appearance and the positive PR spin from Klein and others is big and speaks volumes. Doors that some previously shut in his face are opening again, and that seems to be the trend going into Adam 2. I'm flailing for him, really.
I am also feeling inspired and a bit choked up this morning thinking of all Adam has been through since the AMAs. His resiliency and determination are an example to me of courage and hope and the will to keep on " fighting to the end. " I feel so proud to be his fan; I am glad that I follow him to the extent that I do so that I am aware of this man and his story. There are so many life lessons to be learned from it.
Through it all, Adam continues to be true to himself, his out and proud ,grace under fire, blinders up, eyes on the prize fiercely talented I'm in love glowing self, the self that makes me love him more than is probably ~reasonable.
I'm feeling a shift in the Adam air... doors are opening, and I can't wait for him to step through them and into Adam 2.

His body language is so open. Bet he had some amazing meeting earlier in the day, set the whole mood.

Show business is tough, hard and fickle and Adam has been in it long enough to know how it works.. So' Out 'and the AMAS, Bottom line is Adam's fans, publicity and money ,That so sweetens the pie. It works well for Adam too.. more publicity ,more avenues for his music and new fans.. It's all good ....bury the hatchet IMHO I agree. It's been two years and by virtue of the fact they're now playing it as, "But we love him and always have ..." Those of us who know better and who HAVE been holding them accountable for two years can be the bigger people (like Adam) and say," ICU ... You're not fooling us, but we can let this one go. They were the ones who look like the fools in the long run (and the short-term, IMO). Expecting them to do a huge mea culpa would only dredge up the issue again. I expect they might do a very small throwaway line during the presentation banter w a wink and a smile. I want Adam everywhere during era two. This frees him up substantially for tons of high-profile performances. If he can let it go, I can. I've said my piece to them on more than a few occasions and for any real progress to be made sometimes we have to accept a conciliatory gesture and move on. Also, I very much believe the initial rumors were true about him performing: the single is going to explode! (Which is also why the secrecy.) But when the single was delayed again, that had to be switched and Daughtry was plugged in. Daughtry was not announced until after Adam said the single was not coming out in November. They've known his album drop dates for months, so why wouldn't have they announced him ages ago if it wasn't a last-minute switch? Glad they are having him as a presenter and next year, Watch out!!!
