I am feeling so happy for Adam this morning. This AMA appearance and the positive PR spin from Klein and others is big and speaks volumes. Doors that some previously shut in his face are opening again, and that seems to be the trend going into Adam 2. I'm flailing for him, really. I am also feeling inspired and a bit choked up this morning thinking of all Adam has been through since the AMAs. His resiliency and determination are an example to me of courage and hope and the will to keep on " fighting to the end. " I feel so proud to be his fan; I am glad that I follow him to the extent that I do so that I am aware of this man and his story. There are so many life lessons to be learned from it. Through it all, Adam continues to be true to himself, his out and proud ,grace under fire, blinders up, eyes on the prize fiercely talented I'm in love glowing self, the self that makes me love him more than is probably ~reasonable. I'm feeling a shift in the Adam air... doors are opening, and I can't wait for him to step through them and into Adam 2. This is so well written. I am in awe and is exactly how I feel. I feel very validated to see that our belief in him is finally here. I watch ABC as little as possible, but I am ready to move on now too. As I write this my message is blowing up with the name of the new single!!!!! OMG I love it. Better than I know myself

Am I the only one that is hoping that they just let bygones be bygones and that they just let that infamous performance be the elephant in the room and have them not mentioned a thing about it? I still have PTSD from that performance and everytime its mentioned I just ff, scroll, bypass the convo, and if they include it somehow in his script, I really don't care how much I love Adam and how good he'll probably look, I won't care to watch. I know I'm being a bit dramatic, but I really hate that performance. And no, I don't think it'll be great if he has a "scripted" kiss on stage. I think that'll be cheesy, stupid, and akin to the media making a joke out of it and him, and just keeping it fresh in peoples mind of the gay dude who kisses dudes on T.V. I want him to move forward not backward. THIS!!!! I hated that performance.....I hated the ANGER on his face and the bird flip at the end (not understanding at the time just where it was it was intended). I was so thrown off by the ending, that I honestly cannot recall his vocals and I avoid any videos/references because I want it to be just a blip on his rise to glory.....

Klein says the notion that Lambert would be banned from the network over a performance is somewhat absurd. “We laugh about it to this day,” he insists, but in recounting the events of that fateful night, he does acknowledge the camera’s quick cutaway -- facilitated by the broadcast’s seven-second delay no doubt. “We didn't censor,” says Klein. “The kiss went on and that's all there is to it.” As for the future, Klein very much looks forward to another Lambert performance, but not this year. “Adam Lambert is a friend of ours, he's talented and I like everything about him,” says Klein, “It’s like [AMAs creator] Dick Clark always used to say: ‘I don't care what people do on stage because a stage is for their performance. I care about how people act offstage.’ Adam was performing on a stage. Did he get carried away? Absolutely. Was he regretful afterwards? Of course he was, but it’s over. ABC never banned him and Dick Clark Productions never would. We’d absolutely have him back.”
So Adam was never banned from ABC , eh. Just cancelled and set aside for two years..... to this day ....we never found that funny..
ABC/DCP of the forked tongue... this double speak does not mitigate what you did to Adam in 2009....
The entertainment industry is as treacherous to navigate as traveling through the Yangtze river.

I want to know everything he said in these interviews....where are they?? LOL, sounds like he is in a noisy restuarant. His body language is so open. Bet he had some amazing meeting earlier in the day, set the whole mood. That was my reaction as well; he was so happy and so excited that I figured he knew something we didn't know - but now we do and we'll get the missing puzzle piece today ( wake up Adam). This is a weekend we won't soon forget---an album title, a single title (and hopefully release date ) and an appearance on the AMAs. What a way to start the week of Thanksgiving! There has been so much Adam goodness lately that it has just taken my breath away. ILHSM!! ETA: Just saw his tweet! Love the title and cannot wait to hear it!

I agree. It's been two years and by virtue of the fact they're now playing it as, "But we love him and always have ..." Those of us who know better and who HAVE been holding them accountable for two years can be the bigger people (like Adam) and say," ICU ... You're not fooling us, but we can let this one go. They were the ones who look like the fools in the long run (and the short-term, IMO). Expecting them to do a huge mea culpa would only dredge up the issue again. I expect they might do a very small throwaway line during the presentation banter w a wink and a smile. I want Adam everywhere during era two. This frees him up substantially for tons of high-profile performances. If he can let it go, I can. I've said my piece to them on more than a few occasions and for any real progress to be made sometimes we have to accept a conciliatory gesture and move on. Also, I very much believe the initial rumors were true about him performing: the single is going to explode! (Which is also why the secrecy.) But when the single was delayed again, that had to be switched and Daughtry was plugged in. Daughtry was not announced until after Adam said the single was not coming out in November. They've known his album drop dates for months, so why wouldn't have they announced him ages ago if it wasn't a last-minute switch? Glad they are having him as a presenter and next year, Watch out!!! Uhh.. I like the way you think susie ;D

Revionist history at its best! “Adam Lambert was never banned from the show,” says American Music Awards executive producer Larry Klein. “Adam Lambert is a friend of ours, he’s talented and I like everything about him.” Klein says there’s definitely a possiblity that Adam could perform on the AMA’s in the future." Translation by me: We never expected Adam Lambert to become the rising star that he is. We thought that performance had killed his career. Besides, the FCC found no basis for the complaints. So because we think his next album will be huge, we want to mend fences because our ratings last year were so bad. And we want him to perform in 2012. :D LOL! ^^^^^Definitely a more honest reflection of the truth.
