Right. But these are only the Ninjas. Not, the general radio listening public. I predict the YT will be gone sometime today.

I am going to respectfully disagree with some of you on the song. I think that Adamized, it will be great! It has lots of emotional potential in the lyrics. We know that Adam can take a song and craft a story with a strong emotional arc to it. He does it all the time. Have you listened to MW as originally sung? Or sung by Susan Boyles? It had very little range, and very little emotion --- almost as if the singer was numbed by the madness. Adan reinvented it, IMO. Made so much more out of the melody and the dynamics. Made us feel or recall what it was like to be an outsider. That is just one example of what he can do with a song.
This song has that potential. It has a wide range. Imagine Adam soaring and powering thru the top of the melody. Imagine it with a more upbeat or club drive to it. Imagine it as a very personal confession of his shortcomings and faults, and a declaration of how important this person is to his existence.
I am not gonna judge that song by the Bruno Mars type interpretation on the demo. I am gonna imagine GNMFBAFL making it his own. Yup, it could, and will, be very good!

I think it is probably smart to go with "son of WWFM" for first single. It is important for the album to get out of the gates strongly. Picking a single that should appeal to the same folks who loved WWFM is probably wise. I'd rather they do this than put something out that wouldn't fly (FYE) and have to quickly release another single. Like it or not he has to play the radio game. Adam said to get ready to dance our asses off, so I am picturing Adam's version a bit more uptempo. God I hope so. Hahaha! Okay, I'm outta here for a bit. Leaf raking! I trust Adam to rework that song and have a huge hit - meanwhile I'll try to get Claude's version out of my brain.

Yup, it could, and will, be very good! agree with the need to wait and the belief that Adam "enhanced" it in every way possible. I hope he did a bit of melody adjustment and tempo adjustment and phrasing adjustment and of course delivery adjustment. I also think that the fact that the song does not appeal to me is a GOOD sign - it means that the majority of public would like it. Twitter seems to be agreeing that this is perfect for the Top 40 radio... (hey I dislike WWFM with passion, so there...) AMAs tomorrow!!!!
