This song with contemporary production and Adam's vocals -- is a potential Top 10 hit. It has a great hook and the kind of simple, repetitive lyrics need for pop radio.
It also has a universal message -- that is not controversial. So it will not run into the issues that FYE did.

AAACK woke up early to see the AMA article and no announcement on single yet and went back to bed. Woke up again and still no announcement on his feed but tweets here? I love this song! and with Adam's vocals on it? WIN!!! I will have this on constant repeat (says admitting that I would have any of his songs ) but I think he will kill this!!! |

But I can't help wishing that the envelope could be pushed a bit and there be some male/male interaction. Doesn't have to be hard-core, but just... there. On the other hand, I want Adam to do whatever he thinks is the right thing to move forward in his career. If he wants to push, I'll support him 1000%. If he wants to tread more carefully, I'll understand completely and still support him 1000%. |

Well, I've never made a point of listening to demos or analyzing lyrics before a song is complete, and I'm not going to start now. Where Adam is concerned, a demo has little bearing on his final vocals and musical arrangement of the finished song.  I'll wait until the complete single is being streamed somewhere in January. |
