Does anyone else get hooked on Ring of Fire? Sometimes I put it on repeat play. The singing is just a master class. Almost every note gets some sort of special treatment. He starts out with a really light, almost nasal tone quality and then gets more power as he goes. There are so many nuances that I just listen with my jaw dropped. Everything from how he changes the tone quality, adds improv, adds little breathes and other sounds is amazing. Just astounding. I was it were a full-length performances instead of part of a medley. [laughs] Me. Totally. Its the first song I play as I start my morning commute, and usually the last one too! ;D |

In a previous lifetime.... far, far away, my ex husband and I had two absolutely gorgeous Golden Retrievers. We not only took them to breed dog shows (and won many honours), but also attended obedience shows with them as well all over the countryside. They were also a LARGE part of our wedding ceremony and my Mum, who was a florist, made beautiful corsages for their collars ; They both sat at our feet as the vows were read. Maggie IMO is a Labrador    |

Seriously, a Volvo? Damn! I wish I could remember which interview this was. I have all these little facts floating around in my head but cannot cite the source. He was asked what his first car was, and said a Volvo station wagon in high school which he drove until he wrecked it. |
