What a tacky and dumb finale. :: There was so much class, true singing, fierceness, and joy in the Adam/Queen performance. They didn't need gimmicks....just PURE KICK ASS TALENT!! 8-) Yeah, seemed tacky--too many undies. And they threw in that YouTube kid that does the lip syncing. :-/ |

I just re-watched Adam's 30 secs ...I found the language they used to introduce Adam very interesting. Namely: "for the first time since 2009...." ...like 2009 was many, many years ago.... sounded like an admission that NOT having him on the 2010 was a major fail Which it was indeed. Did anyone else have the same reaction? |

Katy Perry tonight was THE BEST I had ever heard her sound hands down. Loved it and I am always critical of her vocals...but she sounded great and looked weird but adorable. Also, I thought it was nervy of her to play guitar and just stand there and sing without a big production on stage. New for her, isn't it? At least on TV. I haven't ever seen her perform like this on awards shows, either. Usually she is in some kind of costume. Didn't like the dress, but I thought she was good. Taylor Swift did the same thing on the CMA awards a couple of weeks ago, only Taylor had no back up instruments. |
