Watch from roughly 25mins to 33..... Freddie really did have some spectacular pipes....I think we tend to not give him credit as we fear that takes away from Adam...but it does not and Adam would be the first to say that. I have never heard this bit..... If you want to hear Freddie's true opera voice check out the video "Exercises In Free Love".

Not sure about the commentary on this video but the voice speaks for itself.

Yesterday’s “watch party” video is gone and I didn’t check the total views. Did anyone record the number? The last time I checked was about 3 hours before the “24 hours” mark and it had a bit over 423K views.

I missed the QAL live watch party yesterday due to Fathers Day, but I got on it later at night and watched twice in a row. Wow. My heart is full especially as I am still in awe from the documentary. I think those two events for now helped me cope with the fact that we won't have a "Velvet" tour. Great to see the purple chaise lounge Killer Queen performance from their earlier days in there - for me the youthful charm, the energy, and the playful sexiness could never be topped by any other rendition. To see it seamlessly transition into "Somebody To Love" with Adam gracefully and boldly quadruple turning at the end of the song was another major highlight for me. Adam really knows how to dance and it goes way beyond him moving well. That turn sequence takes skill!! Edit: From the feedback I am getting, I must have gotten mixed up and it looks like these two performances were only my own wishful thinking for the watch party... sorry, too many QAl videos late at night.... However, major highlights for me were "Love Kills" followed by "I Was Born To Love You", and then there was WWTLF from Isle of Wright... wow, just wow... How perfect a song choice for a performance that may have been Adam's best WWTLF ever, and how significant that it was shown during Pride month!

The watch party was a magnificent sampler of the best of QAL. Glad that so many watched and became Adam fans. Love learning about so many people who just discovered him recently. Hope they check out Adam's solo stuff!
Interested to now what tonight's even will be like. Will Adam sing or speak or what? We will find out!

Mszue - Thanks so much for sharing that old Queen concert with Freddie in his prime. So interesting!! Ive watched about half of it so far. Back in those days when Queen was so big, I was raising 4 daughters and was so busy I didn't have time to come up for air for 10 more years so I missed all of that but thank goodness for YouTube!! The set has changed sooo much too! We now have lasers & smoke and fabulous sound systems, etc! Still, they were exceptional then too, for the time. ( Ha! I'm sure they didn't travel with 10 ? huge trucks, either). Freddie was amazing - no doubt about it, but so is our Adam. Adam has that dancers grace that is magnetic! His moves are so fluid and graceful and cat-like - sooo SEXY!! 🔥🔥 plus he's so handsome he takes my breath away! Gulp!! Queen really has been lucky to have two amazing frontmen and they were quick enough and decisive enough to act on it before it got away!! Thank goodness!!

I think most Adam fans recognize that Freddie is a great vocalist. Some just like Adam's vocals better. But I think it is more the other way around that some won't give Adam credit because they think it takes away from Freddie. I'll admit I pay more attention to Adam and QAL because he is performing with Queen now. But I will sometimes go back to watch Queen in the past (Live Aid I really enjoy) but not as a comparison. And not to prove that Freddie is better than Adam. I just like Adam's voice, and sexy performance style better. I sometimes will go back and watch Queen, Elvis or Led Zep, when the mood hits me, because fans still rave about them. But I'm not going to spend a lot of time on nostalgia when there is so much material out there now with Adam or Adam with Queen. And I actually follow Adam and have seen them in person and can't say the same for the others. I think they are wonderful but I guess my interests are not too much on what was big in the past. That Lambert dude takes up too much of my time as it is, lol.
