2.26.11 Adam News & Info

I just re-watched his appearance on The Talk and fell in love all over again. He was SOOOO comfortable, so funny and SOOOO gorgeous (one of my fav-ever looks!). The man is unreal. I highly recommend another look at all 4 parts during this slow time.

You know, I can never decide which of his many looks I love best!! He's gorgeous to me in both OTT outfits as well as in his more subtle ones. And yes, he really was stunning on The Talk and WWFM was-WOW. It's really apparent how much he's matured in the last two years, and his confidence has an even more serene feel than before, if that makes any sense.

Speaking of revisiting fav performances, one of my top 5 has always been Sleepwalker from Leno.
Everything from that performance is perfect, IMO; the look, the staging, the very still and focused way in which he starts the song, then builds it up..and don't get me started on the voice... that second verse, it always gets to me-"I walk around and I feel so lost and lonely..you're everything that I want-but you don't want me"-b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l
BTW, I adore his wail on that "meeeeeee"-it's so much more powerful to me when he sings it like this , the meaning of the lyrics is more pronounced. I was so sad when he switched it to the short way he performs it now. Any opinions on that subjects?:-)

Well, regardless of where he wears it (and I HOPE it's the Oscars!) we know we'll get to see the Blonds !outfit! sometime soon. I don't know if anyone checked out those OK!Magazine pre-party pics--none of Adam but KPerry was wearing a bustier dress that had SPIKES! sticking out of her boob. Had to be Blonds!

Q3, hope I'm not out of line here, but when I came back I saw your post about putting further FYE review comments in the Inspired by Adam thread.

I moved my few posts about the review Craazy posted to that new thread BUT I HATE TO SEE ALL THE OTHER ONES LOST--the ones from app 11pm last night to 4pm today--for instance,CASSIE'S excellent note-by-note comparison of MW/BO.

I hope other posters will c/p comments about this review to the new thread (if they want to, of course.) There were some really good comments.

Q3 comment -- Goal it just to recollect all these old reviews that we used to have on PF. The review post made me realize that there was no place for FYE reviews here.

I have not deleted the posts about the October 2010 article or Cassie's comments about Broken Open-Mad World -- but I moved a few comments about the Bully Blogger 11.23.09 review to a new thread. These posts made me realized that we should compile these reviews and comments in one place. Hope that make sense. It was an interesting and valuable conversation, just not related to the news.

Like when he went to the SAG last year, he said, "I was invited, so why not?" (Or whatever.) Lots of industry peeps are invited that aren't necessarily part of the show. Often to schmooze, but also to support friends, colleagues, etc. who may be nominated. Terrance is performing, maybe it's as simple as him going to support him. Though I agree, that seems like a low-key reason to have a custom suit made.
