Adam Lambert! Alice Munro - Canadian author Paul Gross - Canadian actor Sir Peter Pears - English tenor Princess Diana Would it be Princess Diana? Small Diana story...I was with a tour group in Paris the day after she died in the tunnel. Our next stop was London and we got to see all the flowers at Buckingham Palace. I placed my flowers as close as I could to the gates. Was called over by a reporter for an American response. Guess they could tell from our tour bags and cameras. Turns out it was for CNN. My little interview was broadcast in Europe!

My lie is Elvis Presley. I did see him in concert in the early '70s. My seat was on the floor and I tried to get closer for a photo, but was stopped by security. A friend of mine did meet him in Las Vegas. He and a girl he was with were invited up to his room for a jam session after a show there. I was sooooo jealous! I was a big, big fan of Elvis. Now Adam, which fortunately I have met at a meet & greet during TOH tour in Wichita, Kansas!
I shook hands with John Kerry on the rope line at a campaign rally when he was running for president. I met and was photographed with Teddy Pendergrass when he performed at a record convention I attended at the Playboy Club in Lake Geneva, Wisc. On the job again, I met and helped write a speech for Phyllis George at a non-profit convention in Atlanta. I met Hubert Humphrey at a Bicentennial Celebration I worked on in Minneapolis, Minn.

JustKaren I'm guessing Ben Stiller who is the son of Anne Meara. mszue Justin Trudeau You are good at this Happy! I met Ben's family (mother Ann, father Jerry, sister Amy, and grandfather) several times when they stayed at a hotel where I was working in San Francisco, but Ben wasn't born until 2 or 3 years after the last time I saw the family. As to the others, I have a picture of me with Diana Gabaldon while she was signing my advance copy of "In My Own Heart's Blood," the 8th book in the Outlander series ... we were at a special event in Seattle 2 days before the book was released. And Barbra Streisand I met several times when she stayed at that same hotel where I met Ben's family, (we had an arrangement with The Hungry I where their entertainers got special rates). I was at the front desk when the box of her first album (The Barbra Streisand Album) arrived for her ... when she picked it up she opened it there, took out the first one, and autographed it for me ... "To Karen, thank you for making my stay in San Francisco so pleasant, Barbra Streisand."
