I haven’t seen this posted here - but sorry if I missed it and am repeating. This guy has some irritating inaccuracies but it’s good to hear how he has had his interest in QAL rekindled and Become an Adam fan, through the documentary.

It's that time again, if anyone has a second to make a song request for Adam. There was a real uptick in his Spotify views the week that Y100 Michiania was playing him every couple of hours and this week the views have dropped again. twitter.com/Y100Michiana_/status/1285676970534146049

I'll wait and see if a couple more people want to guess then I'll answer. If not, I won't wait long!

Since no news at the moment, may I suggest a little game? I saw this floating around on social media. Make a list of 5 famous people you have met or stood within a few feet of - 4 should be true, 1 a lie. People guess which is your lie. After a bit you post again with the story behind each name. I'll start, but hope others post 5 names as well. Many here can count Adam or Brian as part of their list. 1. Jimi Hendrix 2. Ronald Reagan 3. Barbara Boxer (US senator) 4. Ron Wood (Rolling Stones) 5. Graham Nash (Crosby, Stills, and Nash) Which one is a lie??? peace&love Jimi Hendrix?

My Answers
Senator Barbara Boxer is the lie.
All of these four were from long ago.
I met Jimi Hendrix at the Fillmore in San Francisco. After his set he was coming down some side stairs onto the floor. I was one of a small number of people standing in that area. He looked at me and said, "What did you think?" Then he glanced around at the rest of those standing there. He chatted with all of us for several minutes.
Ronald Reagan was the governor of California when I was a university student. He was coming to the campus for a regents' meeting. I decided to go to the area where he would arrive to join the protest. When I got there the main area in front of the building where the meeting would take place was already full of protestors. There was an island around which the road bent that was right across from where the main protest area was, so I stood there, on the curb facing the protest. As the time for Reagan's arrival neared many more people were on the island. When he and his entourage walked up the hill toward where I was people pushed forward toward him. I was squished between a couple people and those behind me and swept off the curb with my feet several inches off the ground. I wound up squished into Reagan's shoulder. One of his bodyguards was pressed against one of my shoulders and a camera man was resting part of his camera on my other shoulder. Reagan was giving an interview to someone on the other side of him, so I only saw the side of his face. I could see the make up he was wearing. The crowd was pressing in and slowly moving toward where Reagan needed to go. I stayed squished against his shoulder for quite a few minutes until things opened up and my feet could touch the ground again.
I met Ron Wood in the Fillmore in San Francisco before he was with the Rolling Stones. I had gone with some friends to see a show. There were three bands playing that night. During the first band a skinny guy in green velvet pants asked me if I wanted to dance. He had an English accent. We danced to several songs and chatted in between. He was casual and funny. Then he said he had to go because he had to go to work and gave me a little hug. When the second band, the Jeff Beck Group, came onto the stage there he was! I only knew his name by asking some other people there.
I met Graham Nash in front of a small to medium sized venue in the town where I lived. I arrived a little early to the venue for a show. I was maybe the 4th or 5th person in line. The bouncer was sitting on a tall stool in front of the door waiting for the time to open things up. He recognized me from some other situation where we met and started a conversation with me. The person in front of me turned around to add to what I was saying. It was Graham Nash. We talked, mostly the two of us, for about 20 minutes and he walked in with me. Then he said good bye and that he was going to meet someone back stage. He was a totally lovely person.
peace&love
