A friend sent me the following story. I don't know if this is a reliable source and didn't see on Instagram...
Brian May slams UK government for cutting public services after forest fire forces him to flee home

Queen guitarist Brian May has criticised the UK government for cutting funding for public services after a forest fire forced him to evacuate his Surrey home.
The rock legend and his wife, actress Anita Dobson, left their home after firefighters worked to contain a huge fire on Chobham Common on Saturday (8 August).
The 73-year-old posted images from the aftermath of the fire on his Instagram account on Monday, 10 August.
Captioning the images, May wrote: “FIREFIGHT in SURREY. I never imagined it could happen here in leafy, and normally damp, Surrey, England.
“We supported the fight against the immense fires in Australia, and watched sadly as fires ravaged California, but to see this happen in my own home county has been shocking and traumatic.
“These pictures show Anne Brummer and I this afternoon, surveying the forest fire which is still smouldering less than a mile from my own house and studio, and the fond relics of my entire life.
“Today Se [sic] were able to begin to thank the amazing firefighters who risked their lives to contain this huge and treacherous wild furnace on the heath land of Sunningdale Golf Course - which actually adjoins my property.
“Yesterday, I was rescuing as many precious things from my house as was practicable, under threat of the whole thing going up in flames, but praying that the horror would not happen.”
He went on to say while the fire was brought under control, the current dry and warm weather means there is still “a massive risk” of more blazes.
He also criticised the government’s lack of funding for public services such the fire service and the NHS.
He added: “While this dry heatwave lasts there is still a massive risk of a flare-up leading to disaster.
“Perhaps even more shocking was learning today that this wonderful force, which is alert 24 hours a day to protect us all, has become tragically undersupporyed [sic] in recent years.
“Just as the Government cuts sent the NHS into battle hideously crippled by lack of funding, the same lack of vision has rendered this country vulnerable to fires - with a fire fighting service criminally cut back in manpower and resources.
“Something has gone terribly wrong with our leaders’ decision-making process. As long as we prioritise short-term economic gains over the lives of our people and the welfare of those who protects us, we will be a nation continually in danger. It becomes more and more clear that a radical rethink is needed.”
The post, shared with May’s 2.5millions followers, led to a host of fans agreeing with the star and urging him to stay safe.

5 songs- this is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. My 5 favorite are not necessarily the 5 I would pick if we're talking forever and videos. Plus I'm no good at posting videos. So I'm just going to name them.
Ghosttown from El Rey probably still my favorite song.
Love Kills from Iheart. New for me since I just discovered it from the watch party.
Velvet just to remind myself what a masterpiece the album is.
WWTLF from Isle of Wight
Closer to You from Cordon.
If it was favorite songs I would add Trespassing, Roses, Superpower, and Overglow.
I know that's way over best I can do lol!

www.instagram.com/p/CDslOniBdvM/?igshid=le6nxh8529wcscotia2 believe this is the post that's from. It's not the one I posted. This is the one before that- 8 pics. mszue I could easily include all those QAL vids. I'm hopelessly hooked! And my all time favorite song was always BoRap before I ever heard of Adam. In many ways it still is and I love it that much more with Adam! So many performances of it are fabulous.

How can I possibly narrow it down to my five favorite live performances if I can not even decide which 5 concerts have been my favorite so far? I agree with many choices that have been made, and "Love Kills" at the more intimate iHeart theater is definitely up there, as well as "I Was Born To Love You". I need to take my time and hopefully post tonight.
About Adam reminding people to VOTE and him growing increasingly more into the role of being a political advocate, I am immensely proud of him. I just wish that that iHeart would pick a different picture from the original one.

Thanks to all who have tried to help me with my fan club delima. I'll get it eventually. Of course all the song choices for top songs are probably the same for all of us - I adore Brigadoon- that showcases all the best qualities of Adam's ability - tone, quality, breath control, range, etc. etc. there's one song no one has mentioned tho, "Naked Love", ( from Tresspassing). His tones are so perfect - clear and bell-like it takes my breath away! Over the years, just when I think I've seen and heard everything Adam, here comes a performance that blows my mind!! I had the same reaction when I saw the vid, "Marry The Night", for the first time! Amazing!! I feel so lucky to be around to witness this unique and exceptional ( and beautiful & kind) individual!! I'm so lucky.
