HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone who celebrates! I am counting down to the festive tweet from GNAFL himself - IMO we have about two hours to go ;D www.theatlanticwire.com/entertainment/2011/11/x-factor-doesnt-have-it/45362/'The X Factor' Doesn't Have ItWhat is it about American Idol that keeps (some of) us watching after all these years? Has there been anyone particularly interesting or uniquely talented since, who, maybe Adam Lambert? Has Ryan Seacrest been inventing new and exciting ways of hosting a show? Have the songs started to sound less like warmed-ever easy listening that you'd hear at a theme park? Nope. None of that has happened. And yet the show, the long and brutal January to May slog of the thing, still reels us (yes, OK, some of us) in every year. So why, then, is The X Factor doing the complete opposite? the funny thing is that the comments became all about Adam - yet again ;D Funny, isn't it? To our Finnish residents: what did S say about going to Finland for Xmas? The reason I want to know is that if he is actually going (and not just wishing he would go) then this would mean that he has no visa problem - which is GREAT!!!! Adam needs him at home in CA! OK, back to my countdown to the cheerful tweet from our Rock/Pop God ;D Sauli is coming home for Christmas and they are going to shoot a special Christmas-Tutka here, LOL. It will probably be quite a crazy one  . I'm sure he has media visa so no problems with that. And since his employer has just got them new better equipment to make the videos of better quality, I don't think there is danger for him not being employed by them in the future either. He is popular here and Katri and him, they are hilarious together . |

Sauli is coming home for Christmas and they are going to shoot a special Christmas-Tutka here, LOL. It will probably be quite a crazy one . I'm sure he has media visa so no problems with that. And since his employer has just got them new better equipment to make the videos of better quality, I don't think there is danger for him not being employed by them in the future either. He is popular here and Katri and him, they are hilarious together . I'm sure Tutka has a lot more international hits now that Adam and Sauli are together! I know I'm not the only one who has sat there for twenty minutes at a time gazing in rapture at Sauli and Katri while not understanding a word they say! |

Just a quick post while all the family is out running our annual 5K traditional Thanksgiving family race, lol. There are about 120 of us here today, all descendants of my husband's grandparents! Every other year, all the family commits to spending the holiday together in various locations, and this year we are in Ponderosa Pines, a beautiful setting with mountains, tennis, zip lines and horseback riding. I am so thankful for family today. I am also thankful for all of you and for your obvious brilliance in stanning Adam Lambert! I am so glad you are all here with me. |
