JohnKearns John Kearns @adamlambert would be a good support for @duranduran dates. @nilerodgers . 3 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your family and friends. We are all so fortunate to share in the journey of Adam. Now, I am just starting this thread today so don't know if that tweet has been discussed yet! BUT WOW, what does it mean or why that tweet. Say what? any clues here for our ninjas... When I read that tweet, I drew a blank. I wondered if it was suggesting that Adam be an opening act for Duran Duran???

I agree!

In Austria Thanksgiving is called „Erntedankfest“ (you know the German language can link separate words indefinitely to produce ONE word) and is mostly celebrated in a religious context (I don’t even remember when). A sneaky ex-employer of mine once started to celebrate the past successful business year (filled with laughing kids, and clowns, ballerinas, monsters and parties, kids learning to juggle and walking on stilts, sunshine and painting of rocks and trees ….. ) with a celebration called: Dank.Ernte.Ein.Fest Which cleverly broke down the – for me almost meaningless – word (and custom) Erntedankfest into its components, showing again the meaning behind it. Reinforced with slideshows of the fun we had been paid for having, it was very powerful and it still is in my heart after 15 years. Well, this little diatribe will most likely be only understood by the german speakers among us, if at all. Conclusion …. Thanksgiving and Erntedankfest both are traditionally celebrated to say thanks for the bounty of the earth, the produce, celebrated with lots of food, but when we get really down to it, it is the feelings we are grateful for. The love, the fun, the amazedness, ….. and the very real possibility for all and more of that in the future (looking sternly at all the Nordic gods to properly look after their boy). All the above boils down to: Happy Thanksgiving to all!!! Oh … and I’m thankful for that RS picture, and for him wearing that striped shirt in the Moi-vid and body roll gif’s (is there a “team body roll”??? Write me up!!!)

Loved your post, QueeenAl... but I have a question: Do Austrians celebrate Thanksgiving and Erntedankfest on one specific day every year???

I think the last time we saw the hair down was in May, when he was at the Prince-concert with Sauli and Leila!
