HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone who celebrates! I am counting down to the festive tweet from GNAFL himself - IMO we have about two hours to go ;D www.theatlanticwire.com/entertainment/2011/11/x-factor-doesnt-have-it/45362/'The X Factor' Doesn't Have ItWhat is it about American Idol that keeps (some of) us watching after all these years? Has there been anyone particularly interesting or uniquely talented since, who, maybe Adam Lambert? Has Ryan Seacrest been inventing new and exciting ways of hosting a show? Have the songs started to sound less like warmed-ever easy listening that you'd hear at a theme park? Nope. None of that has happened. And yet the show, the long and brutal January to May slog of the thing, still reels us (yes, OK, some of us) in every year. So why, then, is The X Factor doing the complete opposite? the funny thing is that the comments became all about Adam - yet again ;D Funny, isn't it? To our Finnish residents: what did S say about going to Finland for Xmas? The reason I want to know is that if he is actually going (and not just wishing he would go) then this would mean that he has no visa problem - which is GREAT!!!! Adam needs him at home in CA! OK, back to my countdown to the cheerful tweet from our Rock/Pop God ;D Just saw this from last December and even though I don't speak anything but English, I smiled through the entire thing. Sauli is truly a beautiful man, inside and out. t.co/4e1gMET7I'm way back in thread but has anyone commented on the translation of the latest Tutka that Sauli seemed to NOT say something when discussing going to Finland. How great would it be if Adam went with him, even for just a few days or a week, if Sauli wants to stay longer. Cuteness overload.

To those of you who are celebrating... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! ;D ;D ;D And OT... I don't know if Rowan Atkinson is known well in the US, but he is a very funny British comedian who has done many TV series and movies. This is a classic YT from his series Mr Bean featuring a turkey. I can remember going hysterical when I first saw this sketch over 20 years ago. Turkey bit starts around 2 minutes in. It's British humour so may not be everyone's 'cup of tea'.

Yes, I commented a few pages back that it seemed he wanted to tell Katri something privately. I was thinking it might be that Adam was coming to Finland with him. That would be a really fun vacation for them, I think!

It's Adam Lambert introducing Robyn at New Now Next Awards. It is srsly pathetic that I have no memory of this. Thank you! [trudges off to my photobucket basement to label things...]I loved the Michelle Collins interview from this night. All the urban dictionary references were so funny to both Adam and Michelle.
