HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU. If Mayumi was any kind of a friend, she'd invite us ALL over for Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe next year. I'll bring the sweet potato casserole. As an afterthought, I remember all the time we spent in elementary school studying the Pilgrims and the Indians, but I really don't remember these guys. i39.tinypic.com/2aglxn9.jpg

Just spent 7 hours driving to our Thanksgiving destination with my son, who is a writer/producer/DJ here in L.A. He knows and hangs out with lots of people in the L.A. music scene, so I am always interested to get his perspective about Adam. I said that it seems to me like there is some buzz about Adam happening, and he agreed. He says that working with Pharrel Williams and Nile Rodgers is giving Adam cred with people in the industry, particularly as they are saying good things about working with him, and that his sense is that a lot of people are interested in working with him right now. My son is very intrigued by the Pharrel/Adam collaboration. I can sense more respect for Adam, musically, from my son, sort of an interest in seeing what comes next, so I bet others are feeling a similar shift in their attitudes toward him as well. Add that to the way media likes him, and the way Adam sings live and interviews so well, and I feel real hope that, if the music is good enough, Trespassing will take him to a new level, either artistically, commercially or personally. I am happy with any and/or all of those things. I am glad Adam is following how own instincts and making the music he wants to make. This makes me all kinds of happy. And it reinforces the impression, the feeling I have had about the shift in perception that is occurring about Adam. He is being taken seriously as a singer and artist.... not just some Idol manufactured product, "the gay guy", or the freak with the eyeliner and outrageous costumes. I can sense him coming into his own in so many ways, and I am so thankful to have been able to witness the journey. Even on FYE Adam worked with lots of very impressive songwriters/producers, hit makers, not the usuall Idol producers, except for Aftermath. For Trespassing he's really going to a different/new direction than other Idols have never taken before and working with Pharell, Benny Blanco, Rico Love, Bonnie McKee and Nile Rogers. And for Nile to use his "HitMaker" guitar to play in Adam's song "Shady" is really a great honor and tell people in the industry something. And I think that's why AMA wants to welcome him back as soon as possible before people laughing at them. Yes, .. all the good words that coming from these amazing people that works (incl. Queen) with Adam are the "word-of-mouth" marketing, a unpaid and free promotion that's priceless. You cannot put a price on it. Adam is such a good person and good karma always happened to good person With that I'd like to wish everybody a HAPPY THANKSGIVING

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! This has been a pretty rough year in my real life, so having ATOP and Adam in my life have really been blessings! Thanks to all of you for "keeping it real" and bringing joy and fun to our love of Adam!

Hi everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I have been reading, too, some of the posts here and elsewhere about the low sales numbers for Daughtry (and other lesser-known Idol "singers") and again, I just think that trying to compare these singers to Adam is apples and oranges. Adam is becoming a megastar in a way that Daughtry has never been. Adam is a celebrity, he is unique, he is always in the media spotlight, AND he has a voice like no other--he can sing anything and is way more current than Daughtry (who sounds like he's singing the same song from his debut CD). I think people are becoming more and more aware of Adam, and if the single gets radio play and is good, then he will have really great album sales. I guess I'm just an optimist, but I think this album will be bigger than FYE--maybe not the first week, but over the long haul. (Yes, this is pure speculation and just my gut feeling, but that's what's fun about it!) Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I am thankful for all of you and Adamtopia!
