Adam told us in his live IG, that he’s writing and working on a new musical with other people in London. He doesn’t know, how long he’s going to stay in London. He will also do some promo for the new QAL live album. Oh, and he just had a guest role in the Moonbase 8 series. He appears only in 1 episode. He doesn’t know yet, which one it is. yes with the people who wrote the six musical. Maybe he also put money into that project I guess, that’s your personal speculation? Adam has said more than once that he got several offers to play big roles in musicals over the past years. He said, he’s not interested at this time. If he was going to do a musical, he would want to do a new one, where he’s able to create that new role (and probably more). I bet someone in the business listened and now took the chance. Adam is a huge name in the musical world and him playing a new big role would be a big draw in London West End. There is no need for him to put money into this, unless that’s what he wanted. But it wouldn’t be the first time, that the producers get a star for their musical by giving him/her the possibility to work with them in the process of creating the musical.

Lots of new news today! Adam's London park walk chat was very informative, actually. We now know that his role in Moonbase 8 is a one-episode cameo. That's fine. It will be fun. It seemed weird that we didn't know anything about this show, Adam-wise, when it was filmed. But this one small role is another item on his resume. It will be fun to see it.
Very excited about his working on a new musical with a good team. He always said that he would prefer to create an original character if he was going to be in a play or a movie. Hope it turns out well and becomes a success. I'm sure it will be quite a while before it's done.
And he says he has been in the studio, too. That's a good sign. Always working on music. I know it's disappointing abut the Velvet tour, but we'll hear those great songs again when he tours at some point. They are part of his repertoire.

One episode and or guest appearance is still exciting. Whenever Adam gets the opportunity to act it is something to build on. Happy with any participation. He was featured a lot and had several guest episodes in Glee. The exposure was great and he seemed a very natural actor (outside the singing parts). I thought he was very good but more important he received good reviews and a ton of press for everything he has done so far. Seems they talked as much about him in RHPS as they did for the lead, tho the part was small, lol. However any size part, no matter how small, is good preparation and experience for that big break. I'm very happy for him.
The new musical sounds interesting. Seems another good opportunity for Adam to branch out in some capacity. Creating and/or having a part. I'm glad they thought of him. As nightowl said, he often said he would be interested in something new. He is getting that chance. Cannot wait to hear more from Adam about his involvement in this project.

Did he say it was the Six musical cause I didn’t hear him say that. Also I don’t think he was indicating that he was going to be in that musical. What I heard was he was working on a new musical with a talented team of people who he could not name at this time. And btw, if he did put money into it and it was successful, that could be a big paycheck for him.

I assume that Adam will play a role in the musical, because he has turned down all offers of musical roles in the past years with the explanation , that he has no time AND would only like to play a completely new character, that he’s able to form an create on stage. From my experience, he would star for the first few weeks or months, until another singer takes over. And has to play the exact same role, that Adam created.

Well first of all live theater doesn’t look likely until we can get this virus under control. I live in NYC and I can tell you that between the actors, producers and unions it will be at least a year. Than there’s the issue if enough people will come to see live theater under the circumstances. Also any new play or musical that headlines an artist that people want to see ( like Adam) would not agree to a contract that was less than 6 months. Otherwise they would never make back their money.

I didn’t think we were talking about anything in the next few months or even year. Creating a musical usually takes years. IF it even comes to life. We don’t know, in what stage this one might be. Contracts for stars can be very individual. I‘ve seen myself, that some only do the premier and then 3 months. I‘m not saying, that’s what’s gonna happen, because I think, if Adam created a role, he might be up to playing it for 6 months or more. I don’t think , that Adam would work on a musical without planning to star in it. Not at this point in his career.
