That photo of Brian and Adam hugging just steals my heart every time I see it. It says it all, doesn't it? Love and respect and joy binding two men together.
It's so good to hear Brian say that he is feeling better. The recover from heart surgery takes a long time and you really have to work at it. Sounds like he's doing all the right things.

That photo is one of my favorites of Brian and Adam, and it also steals my heart when I see it. You said it so well, girldrummer! And those black and silver pants - wow, also one of my favorites. Yay for Brian doing better! He is a hard worker at anything he does, and I'm sure his tenacity is helping with his recovery. Also have to say to deb5anne - hope your wrist is doing better!

Apparently there's a new IG or Twitter from Adam out there where he is walking around or in a car or something???? Haven't seen it. Has anyone else?

From personal experience i can say that it takes LONG...VERY LONG to fully recover from a big heart surgery. It takes years. You litterally have to learn to Walk stairs again. Also Recovery becomes harder with advanced age. Granted, Brian took care of himself and kept fit, which is a better Position than had He been a Couch potato.

According to Brian, he didn’t have a big heart surgery though. The problem was detected early enough and he got 3 stents. My mother and uncle both got stents as well after having heart attacks. They never had a problem since then (almost 20 years ago now, so yes, they have been younger than Brian is now). They are fit and healthy. I think with Brian there came several things together. His back might even be more of a problem than his heart. He was barely able to crawl at times. And the problem was his back. Then the shock with the heart and his constantly underlying depression... In the end I will call myself very happy, if the concerts next year will really happen.

My husband had three stents and years later a new heart valve.. It gave him many more active healthy years. This especially if you haven't had a heart attack, therefore you don't have any heart damage.. IMHO, Brian should be as good as new

Exercise and diet were keys to getting better. That was 25 years ago and it wasn't the heart that got him.
