I understand from all the reading here that this is not bad for a pre-xmas week (all frozen), no promotion, a month prior to "impact" and "adds". How do you, folks, project the single sales numbers? What base line are you using? Just your gut feeling? Or it all depends on the extend of promo? Or number of reviews? I don't know about the others, but I'm just guessing (but hoping for more). Without any real promo, mostly online Adam fans are aware of the new song. The song hasn't been played enough to have non-fans buying it yet.

All anyone can do for sales of BTIKM is to guess based on iTunes position --- this has been a very unusual single release. If RCA pushes BTIKM aggressively, it should hit sales peak in February --- a 3 to 4 week lag from major airplay --- and in the middle of the album promo TV. I guess we'll see, but that is my prediction. ETA: I am picturing a bunch of Glamberts with Pitchforks surrounding KIIS-FM HQ in LA. Ryan will look out his window and turn green with fear and spin the song 3 times in a row -- hoping they disperse!!! Yes, the OCCUPY KIIS-FM movement!

I'm still fumbling around on All Access but I tried there too and it said report was not available so maybe I was in a different place. Not saying you are wrong just because I can't find it don't mean anything cause I still don't know what I'm doing there.

In particular, look for this week's No. 100 debut to make a big leap. That would be Adam Lambert's Better Than I Know Myself, which had 54 spins in its first week, led by San Francisco's Alice @ 97.3 (KLLC-FM). Even if Better Than I Know Myself doesn't pick up a lot of spins (though it'll almost surely gain some, and maybe a bunch), the diminished play for the 30 seasonal songs on this week's chart should guarantee it a giant leap on next week's Idol chart. 15 13 Adam Lambert, Whataya Want From Me (1062) 77 82 Adam Lambert, If I Had You (126) 100 NA Adam Lambert, Better Than I Know Myself (54)

My first adventure into the number's thread. It's looking very promising! I stayed away from numbers for the most part last era, but I have a feeling we'll be able to flail daily and not stress in the least! So excited!!!
