I don’t think this guy heard anything of Adam’s performance - he was making so much noise himself (I heard it and thought it was beautiful... )

Yes beautiful performance but hate to say it was pre-recorded or rather he lip-sync'ed.
It was pretty obvious when Adam put the mike down before his vocal finished at the end.

Voice fade...at the end... I do not think that the mike dropping at the end indicating any sort of lip syncing. He does that all the time when singing.
What really bugs me is Ryan Seacrest, who to this day, pronounces Adam's last name wrong. Lamberts. He did it on AI ...even in the Finale, and continued even after AI. I had enough and informed Ryan on his IG. He might like to actually know he pronounces it incorrectly.

That “follow the bouncing Santa ball” had to hang out for awhile on “bough” 😊. (The statue behind Adam looks like it is looking through binoculars!)

Yes beautiful performance but hate to say it was pre-recorded or rather he lip-sync'ed. It was pretty obvious when Adam put the mike down before his vocal finished at the end. So were all his Glee performances including Marry The Night, and the Rocky Horror Hot Patootie, and they were all brilliant, too. I don't see a problem with that, it's not like somebody else recorded the voice and he lip-synced over it... So not a Millie Vanilie situations - it just makes sense acoustically to record pristine vocals in a sound booth and then do the video part sans musicians for the broadcast.
