It's a crime you and other ATOP all-stars haven't made it to a concert. I have a feeling we'll all work to get EVERYONE there next time around, one way or another.  Where do I sign up? I fell down the rabbit hole 3 days before the gig last time !!! All sold out by then o/c Is there a support group? The European venues were so small and sold out so fast! Hoping they are bigger for you guys next time or maybe more shows at least. |

I know, if it weren't for the hair!  That pic is hideous. If it IS Adam, I hope I never see it again. :-/ I still don't think its him. There was a guy who did a parody of WWFM a long time ago. It looks more like him. I wish I knew how to bring it over!  |

Damn! Just fell down the rabbit hole AGAIN! I watched the marvelous YT of Feeling Good. I thought, "What if this was your first exposure to Adam? What if you knew nothing about AI and just saw the clip of him singing? You would think you had stepped back into the Rat Pack era (well, except for the emo hair and the earrings). You would think here was an incredible Vegas type performer."
I segued into the director's cut of the EMA performance. Imagine that was the second video you ever saw of Adam. You would think, "This is the SAME guy who was just in the Rat Pack clip? Totally different look, different vibe. One the 50's and one the new, now, next. What the hell is going on here?"
Jumped back and watched Mad World on AI. If this was your third video, by this time you would conclude two things. 1) This guy can sang his face off. Incredible voice. 2) This guy is a great actor, obviously from the theater. He has the ability to inhabit three very different styles, different genres, and look and perform perfectly in each.
In fact, if you didn't know better these clips could be from a movie... like a remake of A Star Is Born, or something. So polished, so high class, so perfectly staged. I swear, some day in the future, they WILL make a movie of Adam Lambert's life. It is just made for the movies. But, who would they ever get to play Adam? They would certainly have to dub in the original vocals, because no one else could sound as extraordinary.

Been out all day and need to catch up with today's thread, but thought I'd post these here first! Pics from our NZGlitterTribe party last night which featured the enormous Adam billboard we won! :D I know you will understand how awesome it is to get together with like-minded crazy Adam fans who have now become RL friends.... We always a brilliant time!!!  awww.... erie9, those pics are GORGEOUS!!! NZGlitterTribe is so awesome! I voted like a fiend for you guys to win that massive billboard poster, and then I was like, "What the hell are they actually gonna *do* with that thing?"  |

Seoulmate, I don't know if she made the suit herself, or got it done somewhere. I know there are places around that do that sort of stuff. Just to be clear, the suit was made for Stephy's baby, not the monkey  And lol to the staples. I went all prepared with a staple remover and everything, but by the time we got there, enthusiastic berts had already taken them all out. 4Msrmyn Yes it's a billboard. One of our local radio stations used it for promo and when they took it down, they turned it into a competition for some lucky Glambert to win. Our very own eri9 won it on behalf of the NZGlitterTribe. It got it's very first public showing last night. We plan to use it at the album launch party as our banner. eri9 keeps it under her bed when it's not in use. Well that's her story and she''s sticking to it (yeah right)   Thanks seashell and PostFestumPF  Parade was fabulous, we got the biggest crowd evah and it stayed fine. Not like today, which is persisting down with rain. Will post pic when I manage to upload them off the camera. Thought I'd add the NZGlitterTribe's excellent Berting to the NZ concert thread.  Sorry the tribe photo is blurry. I can change that if you have another pic. It'll work best if it's 540 x 720. Perhaps more than one photo, if you wish. |

I wish I knew how to bring it over! He's just making a funny face by "blowing up" his front and upper mouth region. It makes the nose distorted. It's Adam's eyes, Adam's hair, Adam's lip freckles, Adam's earring on right ear, Adam's neck freckles. It's Adam. (I know someone who knew Adam way back when and she said he is goofy like this almost all the time! ) |
