But.... but..... I REALLY REALLY WANT THIS TO BE AN ADAM LYRIC!!!!!!  If it's from Ann Powers, it's an Adam lyric! No it's apparently a lyric from The Roots. someone confirmed on twitter dueberville--I think she meant that it SOUNDED LIKE something that could be an Adam lyric. But apparently it's not. Sorry so cranky...I am super tired lol. Time for bed =b |

ITA.. and how about at 2:45... the last wail in OWTS .. I actually think (and I am not sure why I think it just a feeling) he could have drawn that out even more but didn't so it wasn't to OTT let me twist your arm to make you watch it again.. LOL see what you think  Sigh. The things I have to do for people... [trudges off to watch it again....]   YES!!!! I TOTALLY AGREE that he probably could have drawn that epic note out even longer!!!! He still had breath at the end, which is friggin' unreal. |

Sneaking in with an update.
The unmentionable album is discounted to $4.99 for the MP3. Seems almost no one is tempted even at that price. It is #2102 in MP3 albums. The CD is kicking ass at #681. The deluxe album is doing the best at #3149 in music. Doesn't look like anyone has recouped their investment yet.

LOL, cassie!!! Thankyou for the timely update! BTW, I was just listening to the Queen/Adam Ema performance again for the twenty-fifth second time today, and I was blown away YET AGAIN by the whole thing. There's that one part around 1:58--1:60 when he sings "I can flyyyyyyyy my friends" and there's only a nano-second before he starts wailing "yeahhhh", and I'm thinking HOLY CRAP, how does he even inhale enough air to keep going straight into those mega "yeeaaaahhhhhh" notes!!!! I mean, srsly... I know he grabs a breath in there, but it's almost like he doesn't breathe at all!!!!  Just fast forward to that 1:59 part... It is pretty unreal. Right up there with that Feeeeeeeelingggggg gooood. Adam Lambert- lungs of steel voicebox of gold indeed. The one thing I can't help is starting at 6:20 when he starts walking backwards and Brian is chasing him down the runway, I still want to scream "Don't fall off the runway Adam!" Would he have been able to crowd serf and stay in tune? I bet he could. It's a sad state of affairs when the most exciting thing in recent memory that's happened to me is watching Adam play with his ring. :-/ |
