Have we seen the latest posts from "Glamazon," the IDF unverified source? Im a guy by the way.... and I'm not asking you to believe me. I'm just letting you know how the single sounds and how I felt about it. It's a really DAMN good song and I thought you all would get excited about it. No harm, I come in peace
One last tidbit of info. With the new album, I can guarantee that Adam's fanbase is gonna consist of mostly Gaga fans. TRUST ME. He's really going to blow up in 2012.
Got no news on album release date though just that we're getting an album preview to play over the airwaves during release week for promo. idolforums.com/index.php?showtopic=656575&st=5720I do not believe that RCA would send out the album for airplay 2 months before the release. It would be pirated in 30 seconds. I think this Glamazon is not real. ETA: I misread this comment --- he is referring to album release week and having the album to play that week is no big deal. |

Awww. That Santa pic of Sauli is so sweet. Adam's getting a treat under his tree this year! Does anyone know off hand about how many singles were sold of WWFM in the US? Just wondering how that might compare to Kelly Clarkson's latest single sales. She is getting a lot of radio plays, but don't know how that compares to her sales. It seems that Daughtry's single sales haven't been very high, despite pretty high radio play on HAC. Just gearing up for the upcoming #s fun with the new December single. Yaah! Here check this out. We have not gotten any updates, from RCA, for a long time. I think WWFM is around 1.8 now though. But these charts will give you a good idea of how sales went at the beginning. But remember, there was the mix-up/debacle of FYE being pulled and then WWFM being sent to radio. Hello, I'm back from vacation and a week of trying to catch up with you chatty bunch and just jumping in where the discussion is right now:
The German dates are a bit puzzling, to say the least. Germany has regularly issued release dates for planning purposes and some proved right and others not. i.e. they were the only official Sony site that had that Nov. 2011 release date for the album printed out all of last summer and we know how that went.
Having said that, the newsletter is brand new (KW 48 means now, this week), so while it is possible that this newsletter was printed just before BTIKM was pulled forward, I think that a March 2nd release date for the single would be unreasonably late, even before the latest events which we assume might have led to a sped up release cycle would have happened.
This single release date would indicated a non-worldwide release for the single and that goes against anything I had heard so far. So, I also go with this probably was supposed to be Jan. 2, 2012.
Furthermore, it does not make sense to release the album 1 week after the first single.
Wonder whether we will get a correction.
Btw, the first sentence - messed up by google-translate - should say: A little while longer we still have to wait, but with date in site, the wait is much easier to handle, isn't it.
The rest is translated about right.

Re: Glamazon, cautiously optimistic that he is right about dates and that he did actually get to hear the single. His rather goofy market assessments, selective knowledge of the Skank / Glambert culture and a few other indicators make those caution flags go up big time though. I don't see mal-intent though, as in bad troll, perhaps a bit of wanting to enjoy some 15 minutes of glamazing fame. I'll just wait and see, we'll know soon enough.

Btw...are you all finding that Sundance channel that this is supposed to be on? I have Comcast, so far had all the programs that Adam appeared on, but I don't see this channel listed.

Pretty sure that Q3 meant the album would not be anyone's hands 2 months early. I have to agree. Also, Adam has said he is still recording so probably not finished. In the UK they played tracks for people but did not leave them album previews! |
