Did other people like Adam’s “Starman”? No one else seems to be commenting ...His look - like? No? (Is it me? 😕) I will always be a fan of Adam's voice and his unique gift to interpret songs. Starman was theatrical as it probably should be, but I wasn't particularly fond of his look. I found the make-up and the lipstick very distracting, even for a Bowie celebration. That's just me. I agree, but as we know Adam will serve us many looks for all our different tastes I found the backupsinger irritating. What I mean specifically, is when they sang the word Starman (I think that was the word), I wanted to hear Adams klimax but her voice was quite prominent.

I noticed the backup singer too, but didn't feel irritated. May be my ears aren't as fine tuned as yours lol. As of Adam's different looks, I am curious now what we'll be treated to for his birthday livestream. What a lovely surprise today to get our Velvet concert after all!! Bought my ticket already.

haha, but they weren't the final three, but I think most of us considered them the final three with Danny as an afterthought. Rewriting history

Not her fault but the mixer. I think Adam probably wished he could have changed up the tempo etc a beat too like he usually changes things but locked in to keeping it pure. I listened to Bowie's original and I think he blended better with his backup - it mostly just made it all louder and you didn't hear two distinct voices. With no together practice time and virtual backup timing it is what it is.
