So glad both shows are up right now, if only just for a while. I saw the first one yesterday. LOVED it! And the second one was just as good. I love that suit. Actually his physique looks pretty darn good to me. He may be working on it. Anyway, he looked like his usual sexy as hell self. Loved the mix of songs on the setlist. Old, new, some given a different spin.
Highlights for me: IF I HAD YOU a different arrangement, mellower than the original, rich sound
THE ORIGIANL HIGH (shoulda been a single). Loved this version, a bit quieter, but we heard some additional verses not on the recording, am I right? He didn't throw in a glory note at the end, but that's ok.
A LOADED SMILE Great throwback song, sultry, sad, so sexy
RUNNIN' Finally! Everybody wants him to sing this, and he finally did.
CHOKEHOLD Pure sweaty sex
SLEEPWALKER Another song that fans always ask for and he finally did it. A Lambert classic.
MUSIC AGAIN This was the first track on the FYE album. Closing the show with it yesterday was a real full circle.
Of course, I loved every song, esp. the VELVET ones! Brian and Roger said they'd be watching. I wonder how much of Adam's catalog they have actually heard? Probably not that much. I hope they watched the whole show and were pleasantly impressed. There are a few of Adam's songs that would fit nicely into a QAL show.

girldrummer toh was the Demo Version, that's why it's differnt. It's the one that leaked. I think someone posted the YouTube on yesterdays Thread. The Drummers Last Name Made me listen Up. It's Batiste (at least that's what i heared) and the musical director of Steven Colberts Band on the Show ist John Batiste, so i wondered If they were somehow related. Couldnt find an Info. Die anyone else notice?

I agree with your list, Girldrummer. I loved Loaded Smile, and TOH was never my favorite song until I heard the demo version, so that's the one I usually play.
And I really, really loved the way he did IIHY, and the spin he put on it in regards to his fans.
Overall, Velvet is not my favorite album, don't really care for the "70's" sound, but I do enjoy Loverboy, Roses, Velvet (especially the video).
Loved Starman (both tribute and yesterday), so I decided to check out Bowie's version on Youtube. Listened for a few seconds, said Yikes, and closed out the video. I don't think I'm a Bowie fan lol...

Rewatching the second show now. I think Terrance was there based on something he posted. I wonder who else was there. We may never know.

I found an article about her from Jan 2018, if you're interested: tomtommag.com/2018/01/michelle-baptiste/

Rewatching the second show now. I think Terrance was there based on something he posted. I wonder who else was there. We may never know. I suppose There were a couple of people there aside from the (horrible imo) camera person(s) and other staff judging by the clapping. I keep thinking Adam is very brave to be singing there in a small enclosed space in LA with no protection whatsoever. All the testing they had is not really relevant, one can get infected while being tested ... I’ll be anxiously waiting for the 14 days to pass ...

There are a few of Adam's songs that would fit nicely into a QAL show. Oh, I disagree that they probably haven't heard much of Adam's catalog. I'd bet they've heard it all, even if it isn't on constant repeat on a playlist for them. They love Adam's voice, and they love Adam. Why wouldn't they listen to his music? And Adam has said in interviews that he's played songs for them to get their input when putting together his albums. I read years ago - where, I cannot begin to remember - that Brian and Roger also checked out YouTubes from the GNT before Adam started performing with them. I don't know if that's true, but it would make perfect sense. If they were thinking of inviting this relatively untested young man to get up on stage with them, how could they not check out his performances if videos were readily available? I watched both performances yesterday, but I was working during the first one so my attention was divided. I loved them both. Adam was in great voice and clearly having a blast, the band was great and the set list was really well done. I noticed the lyric flubs, but it's no big deal. It's not like he doesn't know the words; sometimes if you get distracted for even a fleeting moment, your brain just hiccups. I'm sure there are tons of things he's trying to keep track of as he performs. As for his stage wear, I think I would have preferred the tunic from Performance #1 if it had been shorter - I loved the colors and the cut, but not the length. He looked great anyway. The suit from Performance #2 was beautiful, and I loved the jewelry with it. All told, Adam gave his fandom a wonderful gift yesterday. I hope the concerts were a big success for him.
