Haha I've just thought of something, regarding if Adam was to perform on the finale of X-Factor. It would be funny (well in the idol pettiness sort of way.) You know how everytime Adam performs on these reality shows, the following press is somehow almost all about him. Even though I don't really have anything against Simon, it would be a little funny if there was more press on what Adam was singing, wearing, his staging then on who won the 5 million dollar prize, and the judges bickering etc., like it was that time when he sang on finale of SYTYCD.

Adam and xtina in same place... Hmmm collaboration discussion per chance? Not that I care - not an xtina fan, but if BB would like it who am I to argue. He's one of very few who could match her run for run! I actually have great respect for Xtina and she can hit higher notes than Adam -- but she is still no match for Adam. JMHTBO (Just my humble totally biased opinion). Christina's voice was pretty spectacular in it's prime. A collab doesn't need to be a match, it needs to work. IMO, Adam and Christina's voices are too similar for a collab between the two to work well. Adam has a great deal of respect for her due to the fact that she has an amazing voice, and I can see why she is someone he admires.

I thought I read that if you buy more than 3 they won't count all of them for sales figures. Apparently you can also gift songs from Amazon but I haven't tried it. Also I think you can only gift to those in the US from the US. Do any of you know if this is true?? I am in Canada, but I have both a Canadian and US Itunes account and I can gift from the US one to the US and obviously from the Canadian one to someone in Canada. I cannot gift to any other country though. |

I am planning on buying 10 itunes d/l of BTIKM when it is released, so I can send them out to all my friends. Is there a way to "gift" an itunes d/l? Should I buy them separately and just email the d/l links? Or should I buy them all at once and then figure out how to do it? Suggestions, please, and thanks! OH! I've also heard that it's a better idea to buy them in separate transactions/at different times for the individual sales to count but I don't know: This is what I understand about gifting downloads, but please correct me if I'm wrong, I've gifted from AO and Amazon, but not itunes: itunes:pluses: -buying here drives the song up the itunes chart which means more people might see it drawbacks: -if you gift to someone, if they don't actually end up downloading the song it doesn't count as a sale(? rumor or true?) -in the past it was harder to transfer files between different players. Some old mp3 players might not play files until you convert them. -sound quality to me is a tiny tiny bit poorer than amazon downloads (this is debated though). amazonpluses: -slightly better sound quality to me -you get the file as an mp3 so can then just email it to whomever and they can put on multiple devices. It's super easy. drawbacks: -not as many ppl paying attention to the amazon charts as itunes one adamofficialpluses: -possibly more money goes to RCA/adam? -you can either copy and email the unique direct download link to the person you want to gift after buying, or download and send the mp3 just like with amazon. cons: -AO can be a pain and has had a tendency to get glitchy under heavy traffic in the past. -doesn't help get more visibility on amazon or itunes |
