This is fun and games for us, but I really don't envy them where every little thing, even just out with friends, becomes the topic of discussion for a few/several thousand folks. Truly hope both have skin thick enough to handle this sort of thing... Love them both.

Happy Independence Day to all the Finberts. My grandpa fought in WW1 over there. I have a totally OT question for you guys or any Eastern Europeans. I'm baking Christmas cookies today and am looking for a recipe. My grandma's old one just doesn't come out the way I want them to. In Hungarian they're called kiffles(sp). They're little pastries filled with apricot, prune (lekvar) or poppy seed filling. I'm trying a new recipe today, and I'll see how it turns out. Anyone have a family recipe for these pastries.
