Apparently this is I-tunes new policy. If you buy a song twice from your account, only the first one counts as a sale for the artist. Gifting the song is a sale each time you gift. Also I am a little curious why both the Cherry's and Terrance are heading to New York next week. Ooo, now that is an intriguing little bit of info...

Seems pretty squeeworthy to me! This is as explicit as we've seen Brian or Roger get about the idea of future occasion-specific collabs. I get that Adams own music--creation, promotion, performance--is of course his priority. But it's just occurred to me that this kind of standing relationship with Queen would be a terrific way for Adam to satisfy the undeniably significant classic rock fan portion of his fan base (who insist that this kind of music is what his voice was made for) while still allowing him to have his own music be current, and forward-thinking, with the kind of pop and electronic sound that Adam is most interested in. With FYE Adam said he wanted to stay true to that rock sound because the fans loved it, but also wanted the more modern sound and production that he was artistically drawn to--the resulting compromise was not always successful. This is a much much better solution to the dilemma. Queen is one of the only bands (perhaps the only band) out there big enough and still respected and beloved enough for this to remain a honored gig for Adam rather than some sort of role-playing demotion from his own work. (of course we're talking very occasional appearances here.). And there's no denying how well both their performing style and social history mesh. What a great way for Adam to continue getting his rock on without having his own work sound dated or like an uncomfortable compromise! So squee! There. I agree this is a great idea and maybe not too far-fetched?? When Adam's name was not mentioned in the intro to the EMA performance at first I was kind of mystified; second I thought how classy of Adam to honor Queen by not having his name mentioned since it was Queen that was being honored after all; third I thought how cool of Queen and kind of an honor for Adam to make it seem like he was a member of Queen, not separate, and I don't think they've done that with anyone else; fourth I thought OMG maybe they did it that way because there are plans for him to in some way be part of Queen in future (hopefully in a scenario just like what MWP outlined). We can hope!! I think if they ever do work together again, it will be Queen & Adam Lambert

Uh oh - I've discovered the Timeline Thread. Thank you again Nica. Never really checked it out before & wow, there are some really pretty pictures on there. So I guess I need to invest in a big comfortable cushy leather chair so I can just sit at my computer all day & scroll & read. I like this much better than having a real life.

I expect to see an even bigger number next week after his special.
