I will just add that this is happening for me as well. I get "sending request" and then it timed out. Happened about 4 times and now I am on.

Q3 - the hosting server might be having a capacity problem - it seems that some people experience problems while others do not - all at the same time. But all of it is sporadic. The bottleneck could be NOT on the server itself but on a network component leading to the server - one or more of the ports on some switch(s) might be overloaded.. they might have changed the setting parameters and the load balancers are off... You need to talk to your hosting provider - they can trace the network... the routing to the server is different, depending where we are coming from - this might explain why some of us have the problem and others don't...

JMHO but I really think people need to take a deep breath and not panic. This private gig is for money, that's it. I don't usually use this phrase, but truly don't think it's that deep. I agree. I understand that artists do private gigs like this all the time and for multitudes of different corporations and groups and I never read or hear about any of them. I think Adam's fans are the ones running around spreading the news on twitter and every place else and yelling the sky is falling - the sky is falling. If there is any negative publicity about this gig, I think fans will have started and perpetuated it. :-/ I wondered if and when someone was going to realize that. |

The timeout problem is not specific to this forum but effecting all of Proboards. They are working to resolve.
It is intermittent -- and should be resolved shortly.
If you write a great, long post, you might want to copy it before you post the comment -- so you do not lose it.
My solution --- I am going to drink some wine.

When refresing AdamTopia got just thrown out... and got the "timed out" as well. Never had this before. Took me 3 times to get back in... We got a looot of goodies from Maxidrom. Linda, the pic you posted is my fav along with this one and the smeared make-up.   |
