Great listening and viewing this morning! Watched those radio interviews again and still love them. I am always impressed with how skillfully Adam plays with language. He great with verbal nuance. He can throw in an accent with the best of them. He's quick with a joke, both giving and receiving. I hope these talents get tapped sometime soon.
Such a deja vu moment when he talked about finished the Asian and Australian legs of the QAL tour in Jan-Feb of 2020. Little did we know........
Adam is in "mystery mode" right now. Hope he pops us soon with news that gets us very excited !

I treated myself to a re-watch of TSMGO doc. last night (lost track of the number of times I have watched). Some really great looks from Adam. Yes he had on eye makeup but not so heavy to be distracting. He looked gorgeous and his outfits sexy and rock and roll. Nothing boy next door or everyday Joe about him. Didn't care for the bright red hair or that pink suit (because of the big flowers, lol). Iheart was killer. Also loved the Under Pressure look. And the silver outfit with the crown and the black and red leather are some of my favorites. And of course the Oscars and the ending outfit in the white. WLL and Feeling good on Idol showed he was a star. Loved everything about it even his interviews. He looked engaging and serious and made you want to listen to what he had to say. Freddie did the same thing in his interview. They left the stage on the stage and tried to connect with everyone. No surprise that the Netflix showing has and still is receiving such great reviews about Adam from all. And Adam is a great role model for the LGBT community. There is something about him that appeals to so many. He presents different moods and styles in various situations but they are all Adam. Every young gay man does not aspire to be a drag queen or play dress up or wear OTT makeup or have a feminine side but they are still gay. Adam is welcoming and shows he is a great role model and inspiration for them as well. I especially enjoy his interactions with the young LGBT community, male and female, regardless to where they came from and how they choose to present themselves. I so hated it when a drag queen said Mayor Pete could NOT represent the gay community when he was running for president. There is room for Mayor Pete, Adam Lambert and RuPaul. Each is just as gay as the other but different.

You said is just right. TSMGO shows us Adam's complete range of personas. He is a master. Too bad that there are people out there who only have one image of him. They are really missing out. We are lucky to see the whole range of Adam's talents. And as a gay man, we proves that within a particular group, the members can be vary diverse. As you say, every young gay man does not aspire to be a drag queen or play dress up, etc. Each person is an individual. Adam has taught me a lot over the years just by being himself.
BTW, speaking of diversity and the identity of "groups," I am reading a book that is VERY eye-opening. It is "Caste: the Origins of Our Discontents" by Isabel Wilkerson. It's about hierarchies in certain societies and how they are created. It doesn't focus on gay people, but it sure does make a point about how populations are structured from top to bottom. This book is a stunner. Not a quick easy read, but it will knock your socks off. Published in 2020, so very current.

twitter.com/ETCanada/status/1373710091371745280?s=20Adam Lambert had been expecting to spend 2020 and 2021 on tour with Queen, plans that crumbled thanks to COVID-19 (the tour is set to resume in May 2022). However, the 39-year-old āAmerican Idolā alum has not been spending his unexpected downtime idly. In an appearance on Nova podcast Brenda, Call Me! With Courtney Act and Vanity, he revealed heās working on a Broadway-style stage musical. āWith this musical I got paired up with amazing songwriters so Iām approaching it sort of like a pop album, but itās still a musical,ā he explained. RELATED: Adam Lambert Praises Music Industry For Making āSo Much Progressā For LGBTQ+ Artists āAnd I canāt say too much right now because we havenāt really announced what it is or how itās going to be, but Iām collaborating with some great people, I can tell you thatā¦ it definitely is rock and roll, though!ā he added. According to Lambert, the musical is based on a real person, but he didnāt divulge any more than that. āMusically itās pretty diverse, but itās the life story of an actual person and itās not me!ā he said. āAnd the majority of the story takes place in the ā70s.ā Lambert also discussed missing out on a big role, portraying Ramon, best friend of Lady Gagaās character in āA Star Is Bornā. RELATED: Queen + Adam Lambert Deliver Incredible Performance Of āI Was Born To Love Youā At Japan Gig āI auditioned for that part in āA Star Is Bornā,ā he said. āIt was so funny to me, because they told me about it āSheās going to have like a gay best friendā and I was like āOkay, that could be cuteā and then I got the script and it was likeā¦ he was a Latin American character, like he was a Latino character. You know his name was Latino, a lot of the slang was using, was calling her āMamiā and all this stuff and I was like, and how is this kind of work? Should I just not go to the audition? This is not my part!ā The full podcast can be heard right here.
