I'm neutral on LG and found parts of her new video to be kinda nice and other bits, not so much. I loved the way it started out with the overhead shot of her in the pink triangle in some kind of transparent cube. Nice. Then she started speaking and lost me. I literally rolled my eyes at one point in the opening spiel - at the bit about the "birth is not finite; it is infinite" (or some such redundant phrase). I can't put this on her, though. I tend to get very squirmy or wanna cringe if I find a speech to be corny or too canned. Even when I know sometimes people aren't trying to be smarmy, I find it hard to listen to anything where I can literally see the thought process behind how a speech is being presented, for whatever effect is being elicited. This is why I FF thru some of Adam's GNT banter. (Don't kill me, please.) It's totally on me, though. Gotta try hard to overcome that - I'm too cynical. I also liked most of the dancing although it didn't feel cohesive with the message(?) at times. The video will probably grow on me after repeated viewings but my initial reaction was, "This seems great.... oh wait...what?"  |

OK SO I FINALLY WATCHED THE BTW VIDEO. HERE IS MY REVIEW: If you chose to watch only ONE big budget piece of self important, trying waaay too hard crap this year--make it Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' video. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll watch weird things plop outta Lady Gaga's vagina like a yeast infection gone horribly wrong, and you'll wait and wait for the subway kids to emerge so they can "embrace their truth" but alas, they will never come. THE END. I concur with this review. ;D ;D ;D |

So anyone listen to that song by RiRi? Anyone think she sounds a cross of Reggae and Jesse J on this song? LOL Maybe she always sounds that way and I just didn't know it.
Adam and his Divas.. LOL .. well not saying I don't like it probably won't listen again though either.. but, not sure what the rumpapa, rumpapa was for.. reminded of the little drummer boy..
I can't believe how long she has been around 5 yrs at least hasn't she and is she 21 yet? I don;t remember
