Really enjoyed the history of Killer Queen! Love that song. It was quite risky at the time and evolved a bit over the years. I didn't know about it when it first came out. I didn't follow Queen then. I was hoping for a bit of Adam singing it at the end but no luck. Adam really camps it up beautifully in every version he has done. Love all of them, but especially his first one with the fancy divan. Perfect setting for Adam.
The pic of Adam and Pharaoh in the flower garden is lovely, but, no, I am not going to look for the eggs. I know they're in there somewhere.

I've followed Queen from the beginning but not this closely. I've always loved Killer Queen. Adam makes it his own. I read near the end of the series they will be including Adam. I watch the 2014 MSG version from time to time but love the way he does it in the Rhapsody tour as well on the piano! Was into reading the analysis of the lyrics at one time. Is she an undercover assassin or a high class hooker? Love it!

HA! I remember that song and video from Rihanna. So much fun and I loved it. Back in the day, I wished that Adam and Rihanna would do a song and video together (Adam loved and admired her then and thought she was hot). But that wish was quickly dashed when people started to say it would be unacceptable for him to ever do a video with a woman opposite him. I didn't want to see him do anything too sexual. Those videos don't generally excite me no matter the sexuality or who does them. But something fun and sexy I think would have been a hit even with a little judgement. But there was no outcry with him in RHPS with Columbia and she was a woman. I think it would have been fine cause it would have been acting and not real life.. |
