The show sounds cheesy as hell, but I'm glad it'll give Adam UK exposure. Hopefully, we'll get some clips over here in the US to watch. I got to watch quite a bit of his XF Aus stint. I didn't care about the show, but it was fun to watch Adam's interactions with the contestants and the other judges.
Quite honestly, I think all competition shows and reality shows (singing and otherwise) are pretty much dripping in cheese. That's just what they are. They are sheer entertainment and that's it. Gotta say I haven't watched Idol since Season 9, one year after Adam. And of course, I've tuned in whenever he has done an appearance since then. Adam has just the right personality for being a judge, mentor, etc. He's smart and funny and edgy and honest and gorgeous and playful. Hope we get to see at least some of Adam on Starstruck here in the US!
