Filming Starstruck to start this month. Yay! Count me in as one excited to hear of some career related info re Adam. Does anyone know when his Netflix animated series is to start? And I wonder about the pilot with Kelly Osbourne. I hope that Sharon getting bounced from the Talk will not impact Kelly's chances of getting the go.
Would love to see QAL do something for a movie or special. Probably doesn't make a lot of sense for them to spend much time trying to do an album. It would be hard to beat or equal their #1 UK album for LATW. And Adam still has his solo career and projects and QAL back on the road will take a lot of his/their time.
It is good to remind ourselves that he does have those other projects in the works. That animated one could be fun, and he does have a recurring character. The Kelly O thing may take a while to going. Unfortunately, sometimes those things don't get picked up. But Kelly is pretty high-profile and she adores Adam, so fingers crossed. And Lino really loved working with Adam and wants to work with him again. So that may happen at some point. I just want him to work with a broad range of people in the business so that they get to know him.

AceShowbiz - Queen have been "trying things out" in the studio with Adam Lambert but the sessions haven't resulted in any new recordings just yet.
The remaining members of the group, Brian May and Roger Taylor, have been performing live with the former "American Idol" star for a decade, but have never recorded new material with him and it seems fans will have to wait even longer for new songs because the 73-year-old guitarist admitted their recording sessions didn't turn out the way they had hoped.
Asked about the possibility of a new record, Brian told Guitar Player magazine, "I always say, 'I don't know.' It would have to be a very spontaneous moment."
"Actually, Adam, Roger and myself have been in the studio trying things out, just because things came up."
"But up to this point we haven't felt that anything we've done has hit the button in the right way."
"So it's not like we're closed to the idea, it's just that it hasn't happened yet."
The "Bohemian Rhapsody" rocker admitted the coronavirus pandemic has made it even more difficult to think about a new record.
He added, "And to be honest, life has now taken a turn in which it's very difficult to explore an avenue like that."
Last year, Queen and Adam Lambert were forced to call off their tour plan.
To tide fans over, they a live album with the "Idol" alum in October. Titled "Queen + Adam Live Around the World", it featured over 20 personally selected songs performed live by the band members from over 200 shows throughout their history.

If filming does start on April 24, then that pretty much confirms he's in the UK, doesn't it? He would need time to quarantine, etc. Makes sense to me. And Oliver hasn't posted in over 2 weeks so I'm wondering if he's there too.

OT: Sorta HA! I guess it takes some balls to start picking out Anna Kendrick for your co-star for a movie you have yet to be cast in yourself, lol. But Amanda Seyfried is the actress who introduced Adam for the "Believe" performance for the Cher tribute at The Kennedy Center. Anna Kendrick Responds to Idea of Starring With Amanda Seyfried in Wicked Movie
John M. Chu recently signed on to direct the long-awaited film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, a prequel to The Wizard of Oz. While no cast members have been announced, current Oscar nominee Amanda Seyfried, who showcased her singing skills in the Mamma Mia! films and Les Misérables, recently pitched herself for the role of Glinda, originated onstage by Kristin Chenowith, and suggested Anna Kendrick should play the lead, fellow witch Elphaba, Frozen star Idina Menzel's breakout role. www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/anna-kendrick-responds-to-idea-of-starring-with-amanda-seyfried-in-wicked-movie/ar-BB1fvZTf?li=BBnbfcL

Too shrieky for my taste. But she does have a theater type of voice, I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if she was considered for the part. And I do remember Amanda introducing Adam at the Kennedy Center. It would be great if Adam eventually got a role in a major stage show or musical film. He has certainly paid his dues. But I'm not betting on him getting a role in this one. This movie will be a major one, heavily promo-ed, lots of media coverage. Of course, it's probably quite a ways off yet.

I wasn't even thinking about Adam in the movie. I just thought it was funny that Amanda was picking out a co-star for a role she does not have. For all she knows they could cast Gaga or Ariana or Jhud or some other IT person in the lead, lol. Nothing would surprise me.
