Hey guys,
Just a heads up that a planned outage will be taking place on this site tomorrow from 10 to 3 PM (EST), so we can do some maintenance to the site platform. Logins will be disabled during this time, but you will still be able to view the site.

The AO Web CrewAO is going down tomorrow for "maintenance." PLEASE LET IT BE UPGRADE FOR SINGLE RELEASE!!!! Why do we think that a new single/album = site upgrade? Is that a regular practice with other singer sites? IMO companies don't do anything that requires an outlay of effort unless they are forced to. *snark* ETA: which makes me also wonder that we won't see a press release tomorrow if they are taking the site down. bummer. |

The sparkly leather angel wings made me go watch Beth for the eleventy billionth time. That will never not bring a smile to my face or a little tear to my eye. It just gets to me. Also, my waitingfornewmusic psychosis may be causing hallucinations, but didn't Adam read from The Night Before Christmas for one of those radio jingle ball thingys a couple of years ago. Do any of our archivists have that clip? Unless I hallucinated it, in which case never mind. Maybe this?  |

Foo Fighters debuted their first single on their website; I don't know if it was revamped. D. Has AO ever recently gone into maintenance mode and we were told in advance? ETA: kms15423: squiggles621 SusieFierce IIRC, the last time AO was down that long was before FYE launch :DE. I think most of us are willing to bet the website cannot handle the traffic it's going to receive once the single is released and it's streaming there. So at very least (as Q3 mentioned on Saturday was it?), it needs an increase in server capacity. F. This was my prediction for the "delay" with the press release/information from the beginning. It has been the one reason that make tremendous sense to me that nothing has happened since Friday when it appeared all systems were go. I think A, B and E are enough reason the think site maintenance has something to do with single release. |

IMO, this is exactly what has caused the delay. #TeamZen100%
Just wondering, if/how they are able to keep the site up, once the Glamberts are let loose... LOL
