We all know the questions – “What is your favorite…..?”

Magazines, TV, Radio, Tweeter, US or overseas, you name it, someone will ask it/

“Underneath” -- a demo for Adam Lambert

Here is a Tom Shapiro’s promo video that contains a very little snippet of a song demo that was done for Adam at 1:04. Adam is not singing but the demo singer is singing in the style of Adam Lambert.

The song was written by Tom Shapiro. Shapiro is mostly known for his #1 country hits but he also co-wrote “Honestly”, a track on Kelly Clarkson’s new album “Stronger”.

There is no indication that this song is on Adam’s new album. And this is just labeled "demo" not track.

GQ Makes Mustache Mistake

GQ Apologizes for Homophobic "Mustache" Adam Lambert Tweet



One might think a men's fashion magazine would have higher standards than to reduce itself to tired 1960's stereotypes to insult gay people but unfortunately GQ proves that isn't always the case.

Yesterday, the magazine released its annual Year in Style report in which editors named the best and worst offenses in fashion over the previous year. Only instead of writing solely about fashion faux pas or commendations, GQ editors used the list as an opportunity to perpetuate the dangerous and false assumption that being gay is a result of a hormone imbalance.

Clearly, the New York-based editors of GQ understand that being gay isn't the result of a hormone imbalance. The remark was meant as an insult, and while insult comedy is the bread-and-butter of catty end-of-year worst dressed lists, the editors of GQ should know better than to disparage their own readership in an attempt at humor.

This kind of humor isn't just bad taste and bad business, it's dangerous. While one can assume that the editors of GQ understand that to be gay isn't a deficiency of anything, unfortunately, many in America aren't in the same privileged position. We live in a country where millions of dollars is spent annually by parents and others trying to change gay youth to straight. This incredibly damaging practice is in part perpetuated by myths such as the one espoused in GQ's joke about Adam Lambert. Jokes like this have no place in respectable media.

GQ Tweets Adam Lambert Has “Testosterone Problems,” GLAAD Demands Apology



Foot, meet mouth! GQ Magazine took their snark one step too far in a tweet on December 13, quipping, “Rules of Street Style: If you have testosterone problems, a mustache doesn¢t always help. @adamlambert”. The tweet, which has since been deleted from the account, included a link to an April photo of the openly gay American Idol winner sporting a mustache and goatee.

American men's magazine GQ has apologised for a homophobic tweet in which it commented on gay singer Adam Lambert's fashion sense.

The tweet was in connection with the annual Year in Style report in which the magazine lists the best and worst in men's fashion over the last year.

With a link to a photo of Lambert sporting a goatee on its website, GQ tweeted: "Rules of Street Style: If you have testosterone problems, a mustache doesn't always help."

The initial tweet has since been deleted from GQ¢s Twitter profile and the page with Lambert's picture and the accompanying caption also appears to have been removed.

The magazine told GLAAD that it is taking internal steps to help ensure that a similar incident does not happen again.

GQ Magazine Gets Scolded Regarding Comment Towards Adam Lambert¢s Mustache

Looks like GQ Magazine got itself in a little bit of trouble with an insensitive comment regarding Adam Lambert¢s questionable facial hair on its Twitter feed.

Luckily, GQ defused the situation by apologizing for its thoughtlessness and admitted that their comment was “stupid”. And what does Mr. Lambert have to say about this? He has yet to respond and knowing how gracious and carefree he is, he probably brushed it aside and is living his life all happy with his fancy looking boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen. Such a cute little couple!
