Smoking is considerably more prevalent in Europe...many countries...than it is in Canada and the US. So...if Adam has this clear preference for European men, then smoking is something he will find himself being OK with. It is clearly not a deal breaker for him....  Clearly not. All his bfs (Sauli , Javi and now Oliver) have been smokers, unfortunately( IMO). But fact is, that Adam himself has been seen with a cigarette at times (not regularly). And then there his love for weed... I just ignore that.  |

By now I‘ve accepted, that there are people who will smoke, however bad it is for their health or that their family is trying to persuade them to stop. I‘ve tried it with my mother since she started again 25 years ago. I hate the smell and can’t breath properly, when breathing in the smoke. But neither my constant nagging, when I was still living at home, nor a pulmonary embolism or later a heart attack could stop her. Against every advice by the doctors she even smoked on a balcony while still in hospital.  |

I smoked heavily for many years and tried quitting many times until I was finally able to stop. Oliver is young and probably doesn’t think much about the consequences. Idk. Hopefully he doesn’t smoke much around Adam. |

Smoking would be a deal-breaker for me. But then, I've never had to face that decision. Nobody I ever dated was a smoker, including my DH. Just being around the second-hand smoke is bad for others. People have do decide for themselves what they will tolerate. As a singer, Adam has to take care of his throat. It's a good thing that smokers can't just smoke wherever they want to anymore, like in restaurants, etc. I guess I'm just glad that Adam is with someone he cares a lot about.
