So happy for QAL and Queen and Adam fans. I'm sure they will have no problem filling up these arenas. They had no problem selling the tickets before the pandemic hit. Fans will be ready again but will now have the option to add on other shows!
Now if we can get Adam or QAL on the Vegas Residency schedule. Got may shots and my money so I'm good to go, lol.

I would love to see Adam get his solo Vegas show back. QAL in Vegas would be great, too, but Adam deserves his own shows. Nice to see those new UK and Europe shows added! If Adam's pants had ripped in the crotch on the AMAs, I wonder if he would have been invited onto a top late-night talk show to laugh about it.

I think a lot of those shows helped to save Adam's career after the AMAs. He had been cancelled by many but Letterman still had him on to perform. He did not talk to him but nor did he make jokes either. Then Leno had him on to perform and do a sit down talk. Leno was wonderful. Adam got to tell his story in a humorous and charismatic way. He did not look or sound like the unhinged and unsafe gay man that some had tried to make him. Then there was the Oparah interview and he was selected as one of the 10 most fascinating people by Barbara Waters. Both very good. And the View. Two of the conservative ladies on the show (at the time) had ripped into him and his AMA performance. After the performance and interview on The View, they were all practically blowing kisses at him, lol.

I am glad to be reminded of all of them because I do remember them now. My comment was pretty spontaneous after seeing Lil Nas' vid so I hadn't given Adam's experience much thought before I posted my reply. You are right. Amidst all the pearl-clutchers and the "protect our children" faction, there were plenty of chances to Adam to state his case and show how uneven the playing field had been for performers doing provocative things. Females got away with a lot more than males. And Adam pointed that out. But it's still true that Adam lost some fans that night and never got a lot of them back. But it's pretty clear that he survived it all and moved on.

Many never made it up to him, imo. Now some pretend everything is all new and ground breaking. Even non-LGBT artists, who never suffered from any backlash for being gay, are being rewarded, lol. Whatever! Adam has achieved a lot and has much more going for him. Starting with more QAL. YAY.
